We loved it!

The condo was large and had a great balcony, the pool was perfect, the location was ideal, and the staff were wonderful. We will both recommend and return. Three suggestions: a broom and dust pan in the condo so we can deal with the sand we tracked in (if there was one we couldn't find it). Please use double bed sheets on the twins since you don't have fitted bottom sheets; this was a true pain in the butt to have to adjust all night. And hooks, hooks, hooks! We had no place to hang wet towels and suits.

Awesome Experience All The Way Around!
Publié le 17 janv. 2024 sur HomeAwayEverything was perfect. Location best in Playa! Close to everything. Pool and beach beautiful. Can’t beet the view from balcony and primary bedroom. Equipped with everything you need. Property manager awesome (had a minor issue and he was there right away). I hope we can make another trip soon. Thank you!!!

Would stay again
Publié le 8 janv. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis place was clean and had excellent security. Communication was prompt and clear. Everything was as described with no unpleasant surprises. It was great being able to walk to everything and being right on the beach. There was always someone to ask questions to or get help from. We would stay again.

Publié le 25 déc. 2023 sur HomeAwayProperty in bad repair. Dock was unsafe to walk. No beach behind hotel as advertised. We needed a late check out and management would t not work with us. Our room was never cleaned. Would never use Vrbo again and will not stay at el faro again. Recommend people find other accomodations

I'm sorry to hear your stay was far less than excellent. The dock is part of the building administration we haven't received complains about it but will check it with the HOA. The beach has eroded in front of the building sadly this too is out of our control but if you walk a bit down or up you will find very nice spots to enjoy the beach. Your reservation was for 3 nights and arriving on Friday with a check out on Monday there was no room for a cleaning to take place. A late check out was also not possible since we had to get the condo ready for our next stay yet you can always leave your bags at the lobby.

Great location
Publié le 24 nov. 2023 sur HomeAwayWe enjoyed our stay at El Faro, it is conveniently located near the vibrant “Quinta Avenida” which has a lot to offer, including restaurants and shopping.
The apartment has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The kitchen is well equipped and everything was in good condition.
This place has a beautiful ocean view.
Our family of 5 had a great time, we enjoyed the pool and the walks alongside the beach.
We would go back to this place.

Great Location, Great View and Great Condo
Publié le 10 nov. 2023 sur HomeAwayCondo is perfect for us. We are a family of 5 and the Condo is big enough for all of us. The view is fantastic and we enjoy both the pool and beach. Our favorite restaurants are within a 10 minute walk.

Playa del Carmen
Publié le 19 août 2023 sur HomeAwayThe overall experience and accommodations were nice, big enough for my family and convenient to pool, beach, boardwalk and ferry.
For 1 week, we had 1 set of towels, which is ok, but not ideal, would have liked to have those swapped. Also, I do not believe the cleaning service came in during our stay, which i thought was expected for every other day, possibly to swap garbage.
Overall, we enjoyed our time and everyone we came into contact with was extremely friendly.

Condo with nice views
Publié le 2 août 2023 sur HomeAwayThis condo is nice for family and friends. Great location for walking to 5th Ave and easy access to food. Must try Zenzy Bar next door - great food and live bands. The weekend nightlife gets a little noisy close proximity to the condo and makes it hard to sleep. Overall was a great place to stay.

Read “about this property info” before booking
Publié le 8 juill. 2023 sur HomeAwayBeware that parking is not free, u is not inside the condo, another extra fee. There’s a container where they collect the sargassum right outside the main entrance and it smells terrible. The toilet started leaking the 4th day we got there, it didn’t get fixed right away. The power went out theee times during the week we stayed there. All fixtures in the condo are old, couldn’t use the grill because it was rusted and dirty. The only thing is the view and that it’s in of the beach. Next time I will pay for a hotel.

I'm sorry your stay wasn't as pleasant as we would have expected. Parking is not mentioned in our listing and in the arrival instructions we mention it must be booked ahead of time. Despite this we were accommodating and granted you parking for the stay. We sent maintenance twice to check on the leak, however since no one was using the bathroom at that time it was hard to know where the leak was coming from. But once we found it , it was fixed right away. The container is placed by the city outside the building we sadly don't have control over this. But the smell doesn't reach the condo.
