So sorry to read your review as I personally met you and not once did you mention your stay was average...Yes times are challenging and yes we find our selves in difficult times...but we have in no way allowed Lairds service or quality to slip.

Staff were exceptional, rooms are absolutely stunning and the food was amazing! Wish we were staying here longer as this has been our favourite place to stay!

The staff make this place special. When you arrive and are greeted personally by each of the staff, you realise that this is going to be special. Lesley, Bani and the rest of the team make you feel very special during your stay and provide much help and advice about things to do, places to visit etc.
The breakfasts were the best we’d had during the whole of our holiday and the dinners were equally as good.
Fabulous place, love to stay here again.

Lovely charming lodge. Nice room, good breakfast. Disastrous unpaved access road (deep holes) which could easily be rectified.
Recommend visiting nearby elephant reserve.

A beautiful hotel with very friendly staff. The breakfast was amazing and very luxurious. the only downside was it was a few minutes outside of town about halfway between Plettenberg and Knysna.
