There are many outdoor activities in the area, it’s a quiet neighborhood very safe With all the necessities within 5 to 10 to 15 minutes including Idaho State University Campus and dinosaur museum and the evolution of horses .It is a way for people to get back in touch with nature instead of being a part from nature. Restaurants :Texas roadhouse, red Robin, McKinsey River, Noodles Inc, McDonald’s, Papa Murphy pizza, all fast foods, red lobster, Walmart, Walgreens, and more. , all within 5 minutes. Bike trail then hiking, and skiing and fishing and camping.Three sides mountains with 4500 feet’s Above sea level we have no major threats with weather.Any road you take within 5-10 -20 minutes into the mountains for a grandiose view. Yiu have the conveniences as well as outdoor activities. Your Self motivating mindset will help inspire you with joy and purpose.

The pool is an above ground pool - which was not available during our stay. The basement "home" was clean and the bathroom was very nice. The couch was very worn out and the bed that my husband and I stayed on was also worn out. I sunk in the bed and had to use pillows. The other bedroom had a very firm mattress. Final note, the TV was not accessible to guests as it seems like hosts family members had put controls on all the channels. It was ok.

We had a wonderful stay! The host was incredibly welcoming and communicated clearly from start to finish. The place was spotless and thoughtfully stocked with everything we could possibly need. From hair dryers and curlers (even though we didn’t use them!) to a clothes steamer, hot plate, and fully equipped pots and pans—it was all there. You can tell a lot of care went into making guests feel comfortable. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

It was a clean home in a nice neighborhood. The couch/ living room were a bit weird. And just be aware that is the basement apartment of a house. It’s not a house to yourself and you can pretty much hear the family upstairs the whole time. It was super nice place for the price and they had everything we needed plus they were super kind and quick to answer text messages.

The property was perfect for 2 couples. It is walking distance to a small convenient store and in the middle of things to see and do in Pocatello. The owner could not have been more responsive and attentive to our needs.

Great for a quick weekend stay.

We enjoyed our stay and would stay again. It wasn’t until we arrived, however, that we realized that we were in the basement of her house. We had anticipated a stand-alone cottage. But she was very quiet and extremely helpful and it worked out fine. Quiet and convenient neighborhood. She has the kitchenette supplied with lots of utensils and staples for cooking but there isn’t an oven so you use the electric skillet or electric single burner or microwave. Lots of various little appliances including coffee maker, toaster, etc. The couch wasn’t overly comfortable but she was able to explain that to us in a text and we made do. Beds were comfortable.

When we entered we were smacked with the smell of smoke and incense. It should have been listed as partial kitchen as no stove. Shower doesnt drain properly. Sticky notes with instructions everywhere. Need 1 printed paper with "rules/requests"

Lovely little place to stay

If you're looking for an entire house, this listing won't be for you. If you're looking for a cozy spot with all the necessities and a kind, attentive host, then this listing is just right. Debbie even sent me off with a zucchini and some tomatoes from her garden.

Pictures looked as if property was more remote so was a little suprised to pull into residential Pocatello. Host did stock pile with all the little things, coffee, snacks, homemade creamer... and was very attentive to our needs. Rooms and bathroom were clean. Everything was great for a basement stay in a duplex.

This bnb Fit our needs perfectly! Debby, (as she asked my 5 year old granddaughter to call her) was a real Gem! One in a million that’s for sure! She was friendly, fun, and one of the most compassionate and educated humans I’ve met to date!! It was as a real pleasure! Her BnB was spacious, clean and super comfortable! Weekend getaway

Deb was very accommodating as i misunderstood about not having stairs to get to our space as i am getting ready to have one surgery. Deb brought me rice bag and ice made us a beautiful dessert and even made me a custom rice bag to take home. Very thoughtful. We had family emergency come up and we had to leave a day early.
