Fantastic Sabina Hills in Rieti Region
Posted Aug. 4, 2024 on HomeAwayThe property was as impressive as expected from the marketing information on the website. We have been to this area many times before and were not disappointed. The property was ideal for two families with plenty of space to accommodate differing requirements. The swimming pool was a spectacular success especially with the grandchildren. Local supermarkets contained everything we needed and we enjoyed day trips to Orvieto, Rome, Casperia, Farfa and the Mamore Falls. The goats with their bells will be a lasting sound in our memories! Hopefully we will come again.

Peter and his family have returned again to visit this beautiful region and again with satisfaction. If it were possible we could propose him as an honorary citizen of Sabina. Countryside villa
Posted Jul. 21, 2023 on HomeAwayPerfect location for a family vacation with a pool that was well used! Beautiful panoramic view of hills, towns, olive and fruit trees with goats that graced our presence each day! Many delicious eateries easy access and a local winery with wine tasting.
Outside dining very difficult due to the constant barage of flies which also did not allow doors to be kept open and there were no fans or air, except in bedrooms.
We had several plumbing issues and some were not resolved during our 18 day stay. Fee for electricity added to rental cost.

We really appreciated your considerations and suggestions and the appreciation of the house and the magnificent and welcoming surroundings. We are sincerely sorry that you felt annoyed by the presence of flies in the first few days of your stay. We came from a very rainy period which altered the balance of nature for a very short time. The inconvenience was immediately overcome. In any case, we had made available for you a basket of bio products, we always love to respect nature, to remove any insects but you have not used them. The description of the house clearly indicated the presence of air conditioners in the numerous bedrooms. As well as the request to reimburse the out-of-pocket cost of electricity, it was also well explained in the description and has never been contested by anyone.
We welcome the suggestion to use fans where not present. We have already purchased the necessary fans and made them available to our guests.
We apologize for the inconvenience of a shower that had a limestone filter, as soon as the plumber received the piece to be replaced, he came to change it. I'm sorry he did it in the evening after hours but it was important to give you this service. I am sorry that you have not been able to appreciate several splendid and interesting places suggested by us and within walking distance. They are famous places, much visited and known. I really hope you can come back and visit us to appreciate them. We thank you for the appreciation, already expressed orally during your stay and for the words of encouragement.

Posted Jun. 13, 2022 on HomeAwayWe loved our stay at Villa L'Uliveta. Irene was waiting for us when we arrived and give us a tour of the property and tips for things to see and do. The views from the deck and the pool are amazing. The area is not as touristy as Tuscany which is nice for a restful vacation. The road up to the property took some getting used to, but we made it without any issues. The property is large and had plenty of space for all of us. You can easily stay here with two families and have space to spread out. Access to Rome is really easy with a nearby train station.

Country house outside Rome
Posted Aug. 16, 2019 on HomeAwayBeautiful house, the second time our family has stayed there. Great for 2 families or one large one. Air conditioning has been installed in the bedrooms since our first visit, and works very well and is needed in the height of summer.
Very peaceful getaway and the views of the surrounding hills from the veranda are amazing.
Lots of nearby hill towns to visit, and rome is about 45 minutes by car.
Would recommend to anyone who has a busy job in the city and needs some peace and quiet for a while. There is wifi in the house which works well, but the tv isn't a smart tv so you can't watch netflix etc which is a shame, only Italian speaking channels. It is not a tourist area which is great, but you will need basic Italian to get by. It's a beautiful part of Italy and I'm surprised more tourists don't visit
The house is great though and you won't be disappointed.

Great house for relaxing in the countryside north of Rome
Posted Jul. 6, 2019 on HomeAwayThe house is great! The views from the house to the surrounding hills with sheep and olive groves are beautiful. We enjoyed the big pool with its comfortable area for sunbathing and its views to the landscape. It's calm and relaxing. Mostly we only heard the sounds of the sheep and the birds. The rooms in the house are generally large and the house has several floors, inside and outside, with terraces and a balcony, which gives a sense of ”freedom”. There are several sitting areas for the different parts of the day and lots of space inside and outside for being together or finding a place to be on one’s own (we were four persons). We enjoyed dining on the terrace with its views. One needs a car to get there and to go shopping, and for making excursions.

Atmospheric family house in central location in Lazio

Depends on your taste ofcourse, but it has character and style, fantastic views, is very spacious(noice terrasses), has great views and a fantastic swimming pool. Location in countryside, but relatively close to small picturesque villages. Rome an hour away with train and car. Communication with Antonio good and to the point. Would book again.

Einsame ruhige Lage in Berglandschaft, Garten mit Schwimmbecken, historisch und kulturell interessante Region (Etrusker, römisches Imperium, Mittelalter, Barock)
