In a great location. We self checked in but the owner came by straight away to show us round and check all was OK.

Less than welcoming reception. Expensive for what you get. Low budget breakfast was blamed on Covid. Would not stay there again.

Thank you for your input I do remember your reservation. I waited until 8:30 PM to greet you, then went over to the Inn; left you a personal note with your key in the entryway and turned the lights on in your room. I stayed about 15 minutes conversing with the other guests. You arrived around 9:30 and left around 8:30 the next morning. We don't usually disturb our guests until a bit later, wishing to give them privacy. Staying anywhere out here is not inexpensive. We feel our photos of the Inn give a good feel for the place. Breakfast includes cereal, fruit, yogurt, cheese, milk, juice, snacks and coffee. We have around 600 guests per year, and most enjoy the beautiful, peaceful surroundings of our property.

I was surprised to find out that it's a "room" in a 3 bedroom house. But the amenity is great. The common area of the house can be used. It's among a vineyard area, quiet and serene. The inn-keeper lives in a separate house and came to help me check in when we got there. Overall it's an enjoyable and pleasant stay. I think it's a better experience than a typical hotel room.

Wonderful hosts with great recommendations for restaurants and local history. The inn was comfortable and clean. The only drawback was a slight smell of cigarettes in some of the rooms.

Laurie, Thank you for the great review. We enjoyed having you. We do have a no smoking policy at the Inn, which seems to be 100% respected. I wish you would have mentioned it to me when we spoke last night. I didn’t notice it, but you never know what people do behind closed doors. Meanwhile, have a wonderful rest of your trip.

The new Hotels.com has an annoying pop-up ad for One Key. I do not know what One Key is and I do not care.
Every time I navigate to a new page or listing the page loads and three seconds later the One Key ad fills the page. You have to use the "Back" button to get to the property you want to look at. Every time you click on a hotel, you get the pop-up. Then you click on the back button to dismiss it. In other words, the number of clicks to reserve a room has doubled. I am not happy with you, Hotels.com. I feel abused.
Absolutely fabulous at The Vineyard though. Ten Stars.
Be sure to visit The Marshall Store for oysters!
