Rooms not clean. Phone to reception does not work.

Well located for our needs. The staff were friendly especially Geoff the young barman, waiter and everything in between. He was always smiling and went out of his way to accommodate us.
The Resturant was lovely and food delicious.
Some evening entertainment like a musician and the candles lit in the library would showcase this hotel.
Will definitely return.

Only problem is the dirt in the spaces that you can’t see, behind the bed, years of dust ( somebody’s skin flakes, I assume 😳)

Central location to wineries etc., was just what we wanted.

The place was nice but I had to check out and return home after just one night as my mother was rushed to hospital and is now in Woy Woy Rehabilitation Centre...
I know you have rules regarding refunds and I didn't ask for a refund but the lady at desk made it clear I wasn't getting one. I was disappointed they couldn't at least have given a days refund or something.
On that basis, I'll never go there again nor recommend it.

room 402 bathroom ceiling very dirty. both shower heads badly need cleaning

Just needed a room for the night for an event the following morning but we were pleasantly surprised. Games room (free) and swimming pool and the Bistro meant it was easy for the little one with us but it was in walking distance to the HV shops too. Great central location and facilities, friendly staff.

Got to our first room and the wall was covered in bugs, but luckily there is complementary bug spray with the room, which was no help. The aircon was also not working. We moved to another room, which had a large huntsman on the door, which understandably cannot be controlled, however when entering the room the walls were covered with mosquitoes and bugs and we were greeted with a spider in the bed. Really disappointed and ended up leaving for another hotel.

Things I liked:
Quiet
Parking availablity
Close to hunter valley garden
Spa & swimming pool
Things I didn’t like:
Rooms are outdated
Cleanliness of room is okay ( pillows smelled weird, can see spider web on doors)
Poor customer service ( kettle was missing in our room, called front office to get one , didn’t arrive in 1&1/2 hr)

Quiet and handy to the area. Clean and nice bathroom.
