La Fortezza is a perfect holiday home
Publié le 29 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis year we spent two weeks in Puglia, and got to know the surrounding country side and the delightful small cities near by. Francescas Fortezza was as near a perfect holiday home as can be: a large garden with various fruit trees and conifers in a colourful mix. One pond for the people and the other for the turtles. The house itself was a mixture of old and new: we liked the appreciation that was given to the work of past generations as well as Francescas own efforts to preserve the old in harmony with new additions. Thus the house was equipped with all the household items you could wish for, but also with solar panels and rechargeable batteries as a sign of a environmentally conscious host.
We have been travelling all ovet Italy for over ten years and Francescas home and her positive and active attitude towards her quest has been the most impressive of all.

La Fortezza - Absolutely the best

The house and surrounding property was absolutely gorgeous, spacious, clean and made for many memorable evenings on the patio after our day trips throughout Puglia. Francesca and Claudia are the best. You will fall in love with them as soon as you meet. Would highly recommend having Chantal make dinner for your group. It was delicious and so much fun. Thank you again Francesca - wish we could have stayed longer.

Polignano a Mare

The home is eclectic, fun, well equipped, stunning location and views! We were a family of 5 women travelling together and all would highly recommended La Firtezza.

Publié le 6 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayFrancesca was a wonderful host always on hand for anything you need and also with some fantastic restaurant and activity suggestions. Her home is even better than the online pictures suggest with the front treehouse terrace a particular highlight! The plunge pool was also a huge hit on a hot day.
The house was well equipped and has lots of personal touches that added to the experience.
Location is fantastic- 10 minutes drive from Pogliano a mar but also a few local spots within walking distance!
We would go back in a heartbeat!

Exceptional Residence
Publié le 9 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayThe residence is really nice and very well equipped. Peaceful yet very close to Polignano a mare. The property manager was very welcoming. We arranged to have their chef cook a dinner at the residence. The price was very reasonable and the food was excellent.

Loved every minute
Publié le 18 oct. 2023 sur HomeAwayOur time at la fortezza was fantastic!! The description of the villa is right on. We found it convenient for day trips. Found good restaurants in Polignano le mare. Francesca’s communication was immediate and she was very kind to help us with picking up a car before arriving at La Fortezza. Loved if!!!

A perfect stay at La Fortezza

Francesca is a perfect host and very helpful. I would recommend 100% and hopefully we can return. Thank you Francesca!

We highly recommend having a meal cooked for you at home by the delightful private chef. It was very easy to get to town by car, and well located for site seeing trips. We will definitely return!!

An unforgettable holiday
Publié le 25 juin 2023 sur HomeAwayWe had an amazing time at Francesca’s property. Everything went above our expectations, both in terms of the comforts offered and the sheer charm of the decor, the stunning views and the blissful feeling of being in wonderful surroundings.
The terrace became our front room and we spent many happy hours in the dappled shade of the trees.
We were five adults and all agreed that would be happily book again and again.
We can also recommend the food prepared by the wonderful Laura.
