Publié le 7 août 2019 sur HomeAwayNous avons passé une très bonne semaine de vacances dans cette villa. Nous étions 2 familles et la maison a été parfaite (4 SDB pour 9 personnes !)
L’accès direct à la mer est très appréciable.
La terrasse avec vue sur la mer est particulièrement agréable quelque soit le moment de la journée.
Les photos du site ne rendent pas hommage à la maison qui est beaucoup mieux en vrai !

Restful and Lovely
Publié le 20 oct. 2022 sur HomeAwayThis villa was more than we expected. Clean, charming, great view of the water. Host very accommodating. There was an issue with the gates, but I am sure that has been resolved. We will book this villa again in the future!

Perfetta per gruppi numerosi
Publié le 26 août 2019 sur HomeAwayLa villa è perfetta per accogliere gruppi numerosi con i suoi spazi ampi e l’accesso diretto al mare. Comodissima per chi, come me, non ama lo stress delle vacanze al mare in cui devi svegliarti presto per trovare posto, parcheggiare e stare tutto il giorno sotto al sole. Basta aprire una porticina e ci si trova ad un metro dall’acqua. Consigliate le scarpette da scoglio, la maschera e un materassino/tavoletta se non sapete stare a galla nell’acqua alta.
Comodissima anche la doccia esterna nel cortile della casa.
Splendida la veranda che affaccia sul mare dotata di un comodo divanetto, sdraie, barbecue e un grande tavolo in legno.
Le camere al piano di sotto sono spaziose e fresche in quanto interrate per metà.
La casa è a 2 km dal centro di Polignano che può essere raggiunto anche a piedi in mezz’ora passando per la pista ciclabile che affaccia sul mare.
Il soggiorno è stato così bello che credo proprio che ci torneremo. 😊

Location and villa were great. Nice people!
As far as coffee maker is concerned, it is unfortunate that they are not suitable for large groups of people.

Regarding the coffe maker I am sorry that 3 coffee makers were not enough for your. Normally those ones can make up to 22 coffe cups (italian style) however you could have let us know. We would have provided you with a fourth one.

Wonderful holiday, but ......

We had a marvellous holiday in Puglia - excellent sea food, interesting towns and glorious sunshine. Villa Caterina is conveniently located for Polignano and Bari, there are good nearby restaurants in walking distance (particularly Cala Ponte) and a nice local bay for swimming with convenient access.
But, Villa Caterina itself was something of a disappointment. It is described as 'beachside' and 'directly on the sea'. In reality another large property, Villa Blu, is between Caterina and the sea. And from Villa Blu, which offers apartments to rent, loud music disturbs the peace at almost any time of day.
Villa Caterina is under provisioned for eight persons. The coffee percolators serve three at most; not every bedroom has blinds, or a mirror, or a place to hang towels and beach towels are not provided.
We have holidayed happily in villas in many different Italian locations - Villa Caterina does not compare well.

it has been very sad for us to read your review, as we always aim to satisfy all the expectations of our guests.
If you would have told us on time about the mirror, the blinds and the place to hang the towels we would have provided them straight away and bring to you. As no guests have told us before that this would be a problem for their stay, we didn't know that it was for you.
Regarding the beach towels we have never mentioned that you would have found them in the villa.
We are sorry that the music was too loud, but as far as we know the party was only one day and the property where the music was coming out belongs to another owner, so we could not deal with this, moreover please consider that that area is a holiday area, it can happen that people want to have fun.
The access to the beach is private, towards a little gate, and no further than 20 steps.
Finally for the coffe we have provided a big coffe machine suitable for 8/10 cups (italian style) so it depends how much you have filled your cups.
We hope you had a peacefull return home.
