Publié le 31 déc. 2023 sur HotelsWe had an amazing time. We only slept there as we were visiting family in Bendor. We didn’t even switch on the TV. The beds are comfortable. The service was excellent in the 5 days we stayed there. The gardens are looking a little sad and the pools are green - I do understand that there is a water issue in the area.

Linen too small for bed. Bed uncomfortable and we did not have a single night of good sleep. Frequently without water. Just enough hot water for one person to shower. Mould on the bathroom ceiling. A single, difficult to access, power outlet for three appliances (Kettle, micro wave and toaster.) No utencils, cutlery or cookware on arival. We had to fetch it from reception ourselves. We had to wash everything before we could use it. The fridge had almost none of it shelves and even the one the switched it out with were missing some sgelves. The room itself was clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. They were trying their best to make us feel welcome and accommodate our needs.

Please note that you did not book a self catering unit!Why didn't you rather thank us that we supplied you with everything you needed. Our standard rooms are equipped with a microwave, toaster, fridge and kettle for your convenience. Normal three star hotel rooms have a kettle, two cups and two glasses only!Next time book a self catering unit. Our self catering chalets is equipped with a large fridge as well as a fully equipped kitchen. There are a lot of easy accessible power outlets as well as a double power outlet on the table top. Why do you want to power the kettle, toaster and microwave all from the same outlet at once? Did you even think that you will burn the house wires if you plug all three these high demand devises into one outlet? Our linen are definitely not to small for our beds. The room that you booked had a double bed with double bed linen. Our beds are also relatively new, comfortable and up to standard according to the Star Grading Counsil of South Africa.Polokwane is without water for many years now. We are pumping and filtering our own borehole water. We have booster pumps that supply water to the units. I regret that there was 'n burst pipe on Friday, 14 July and the water was closed by the plumbers for a short time, while they were fixing the pipe. The Mould on the bathroom ceiling was attended to. Thank you for informing us.Please also be aware that we cannot resolve your issues on this forum. We are on the premises 24/7 and we have very effective procedures and personnel in place to resolve any problems you may encounter while you are here.
