Group Getaway

We went to this nice little house for one final weekend of gaming, hanging, and goodbyes (hopefully just for now). It was super spacious and accommodated our need for multiple sleeping rooms really well.

Family Weekend
Publié le 1 août 2023 sur HomeAwayThis property was great for our 3-generation visit to Sandpoint for a family wedding. Plenty of space for all 9 of us too spread out. Teens and Tweens enjoyed the bunks and games. Adults enjoyed the hot tub. Incredibly quiet neighborhood complete with deer.

Family good times
Publié le 13 juill. 2023 sur HomeAwayThe property was immaculate, well stocked with dishes and appliances and clean. A bonus was no steps to get in the front door or to the back yard. One of the family has Parkinsons and this made a huge difference. We used the BBQ and the hot tub. A fledgling Osprey sat in a tree in the back yard for over an hour. My 13 year old grandson claimed the upstairs bonus room. It made the trip for him.

Excellent Family Property

The loft room was a bit hot and would benefit from additional AC. One thing I REALLY appreciated was the simplicity of check out. There was no “scrub this place from head to toe or we’ll charge you $1000” it was just “hey, if you could start the dishwasher and turn off lights that’s be cool, if not no worries.”’

May 18-21, 2023 visit
Publié le 22 mai 2023 sur HomeAwayWe really enjoyed our stay in sandpoint, Idaho this weekend and the house was perfect! The house is very new, very clean, and a perfect set up for eight guests. We had plenty of room, beds are super comfortable, linens and towels are very nice, and the kitchen is well stocked as we made breakfast and lunch everyday for our party of 8. Wifi worked great. Tv worked great for streaming sports that we wanted to watch while we had a little downtime during the days. This house has everything you need to enjoy your stay. I give this vacasa, VRBO a 10 star ranking out of 10 stars. Thank you for letting us stay at your house and we hope to be back next year for another fun weekend.

Great place under unbelievably BAD management!

The only comment I would give to the Owners (real owners, not Vacasa) is to have some shelving or drawers in the queen bedroom on a fist floor: the few shallow drawers there good only for phone etc, but not for clothiers. Closet organizer may solve storage problem (I am talking as former host/owner). As for Vacasa.... Get read of this mismanagement company!
Vacasa is BAD! They NEVER answer the question you asked. They only send sales speeches in response and do not even mention your question! There is No instructions on how to operate TV or fireplace! First, we got from them is that hot tub needs to be drained, so we cannot use it until they do it. They offered $50 off for the inconvenience. When we replied that we do not need the hot tub and they can just remove the hot tub fee from our bill and not worry about dealing with it now, we got no reply! When we contacted them about TV in the living room and Fireplace not working, we got NO help! After a few days pressing the question, we figured out TV by ourselves, and finally got a reply about how to start fireplace: they told us where we can get firewood! Ironically, it was a Gas fireplace! This alone tells you how much attention they pay to the properties! They are only concerned with the $$ they get. We had to adjust our stay due to the airline flight time change, and when we shortened our stay by a day (with in free cancellation period), they managed to charge us more in taxes and fees! It took a while to make them understand the irony in this! When we reported that the hair dryer was not working, we were told that they would report it to a local manager.... We never heard from them. When I asked for compensation for all the inconvenience (no TV in the living room and no Fireplace for a few days, no Hairdryer in the hall bathroom) and aggregation dealing with Vacasa, I was told that they notified local manager, who is out of town, and will contact us when he returns on Monday... never heard from this mysterious manager.
It is sad that VRBO and the Owners deal with this kind of "management"! This property has enormous potential, but Vacasa will destroy it!
