Hello, It is correct that the guests found some droppings (probably mice) in 1 of the chalets when they arrived. This can be due to the fact that the chalets have been empty before they arrived, because of a cancellation. The cleaning company had cleaned the chalet 1 week before the arrival. They informed me about that 2 days after they arrived. Together with a complaint about food-remains. When I asked them for a photo, so I could have contacted the cleaning company they sent me a photo of a can with instant cappuccino. Well it's a good habit that guests leave coffee, tea, salt & pepper, dishwashing-liquid, toilet-paper etcetera for next guests. There is no way that I forced them to clean the chalets when they departed. I only told them that it is obligatory to leave the chalets properly, so no trash, no wasted food, no dish and not dirty. I also offered them to reimburse 75 euro for the droppings they saw at their arrival, so they had to wipe the floor (approx 10 minutes of work?). But the whole attitude and way they approached me, already days before the arrival, was not very kind. So, more or less, I already expected trouble / complaints up front. And, if I read your email correctly, they want 150 euro as a kind of blackmail for their review. I read their comments: They also claim that the chalets are just behind the camping dump. Go check it yourself to see that that is complete nonsense. I'm sorry, but you better drop these people from your list, than showing bad reviews about my chalets. Best regards, Gertjan Vlug
