Great Family Trip!!
Posted Aug. 1, 2024 on HomeAwayHad the best stay at the Sandy Bottoms house! Our whole family enjoyed the stay. It was very clean and the AC worked great! We loved that the house provided everything we needed to be able to cook all of our meals there. The beach was just a short 2 minute walk and you got great views of the ocean from the front porch. We would definitely stay here again!!

Great Getaway!
Posted Jul. 25, 2024 on HomeAwayThis is my second time staying at this awesome property. The location to the beach is perfect, with a wonderful view of the beach. Our stay was a week after the hurricane and the Host was very responsive with all questions about the property and area. The beach was clear of debris, and we couldn't have been happier with the house. Such a great find!

Posted Jul. 10, 2024 on HomeAwayHouse was fantastic. Most organized and well equipped house I have stayed at. Everything was neat and organized and the kitchen actually had everything we needed. Extra pillows and blankets everywhere. Only issue we had was with the check-out procedures. We had to wash and put away the dishes instead of just starting the dish washer before we left. The same with the towels, they had to be washed and put away. What if we wanted to take a shower right before leaving after having gotten all sweaty from loading everything up to leave. But besides that minor inconvenience, the house itself was fantastic.

and Spacious. Only wish there were TV's in the other rooms besides just MB, but still ok.

Accurate Description
Posted May 29, 2024 on HomeAwayThe description on the VRBO website is very accurate - the house is lovely and very well appointed. I brought a ton of stuff but I found that it was already there. The kitchen is huge with lots of seating. The beds were very comfortable. Even my husband said the house was perfect but we could have used another bathroom - 5 girls with 2 bathrooms is a little tough. But overall, we loved the house and view of the beach.

Posted Nov. 26, 2023 on HomeAwayThe house is very nice and clean, with great access to the beach. Be aware this is located about 2 hrs from either airport. It is on the peninsula so access is by ferry. I understand this is a rental however the cookware needs updating. Not much to work with for cooking family meals. Property Manager very responsive!
