We Made the Best of It
Publié le 8 août 2024 sur HomeAwayWe spoke with Customer Service MULTIPLE TIMES throughout our stay. They were able to help resolve some issues… But it was our “squeaky wheel” that kept them from dropping the ball.
There was no wifi for the first 24hrs. That was EXTREMELY irritating. Then the communication went dark bc it was after hours. They just stopped communicating with us. The front door lock was completely broken. We were 100% not secured the first night. It was very scary knowing ANYONE could just walk into this home while we were asleep. Black mold in both showers. Sheets were dirty. The kitchen was poorly stocked. No bottle opener of any kind. Very cheep toilet paper and only four rolls for 7 adults for a whole week. We had to go buy more. Only two trash bags. Not enough. There wasn’t even a broom for us to sweep the sand off the deck. Deck cushions were disgusting and definitely too gross to sit on. The wood chairs were fine. I feel like they also should have supplied a beach pass to drive on the beach with our rental. We were told by Vacasa we didn’t need one, but the book inside the house specifically said we did. The grill was a joke. It was basically a huge piece of trash. The firepit that was “talked up” on website was also a mess. I do feel like we should have been warned about the SEVERE mosquito issue. It’s not normally any kind of issue, but this summer they are vicious. We couldn’t even get to the car, walk on beach in evening or mornings without being attacked and eaten alive. A simple

Cancellation Insurance
Publié le 30 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayWe paid the $75 cancellation insurance but on the bill, it said that we declined this insurance. Luckily, we didn't need it. Truly enjoyed our stay.

Very Nice House but…
Publié le 8 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayThe house is super cute. The beds are comfortable but could use some new pillows. Kitchen was fully stocked & gorgeous.
Negatives: Very low water pressure in the showers and furniture is stained up pretty badly. Rug was covered in dog hair, sticky & stained. The small vacuum there would not suck up the hair or dirt. Could use new furniture, fresh new rug & better vacuum. Other than that everything was great! Beautiful home.

Home was very nice and spacious, the only thing that needs to be improved is thier cleaning. Home wasnt clean when we arrived and it had a really wierd smell to it, dirty floors ,stains on fridge and stove ,dog poop behind the toilet ,the master shower has mold on it 😳 whoever cleaned was in a rush ,we ended up having to clean all that up. Other than that we enjoyed the home.
