Port Douglas ruined forever,can no longer stay anywhere else!

Great house and location, terrible pub noise
Publié le 17 oct. 2023 sur HomeAwayWe did love our stay; great little house, perfect for the 4 of us. Check-in was easy and the team were really helpful. One issue that I wasn’t aware of was that there’s a pub behind it that plays live music until about 11pm. It’s loud. Almost as if you’re at the venue. So if you’re there for peace and quiet, that’s something to note. But during the day it’s lovely and peaceful.

Great location but overpriced

Garage too small to get car in and out of so had to part on street, broken tiles on stairs leading down to accommodation (lots of stairs to walk down), kitchen was not cleaned, with dead insects in the oven, dirty dishes and unwiped benches. Spa advertised was either not working or not a spa. Having said all that we spoke to booking agent while there and she was lovely. Layout of accommodation is great if 2 separate friends or couples. Private pool great.
