Hi Sheryl, please accept, once again, our most sincere apologies for this experience you had at our establishment. As previously discussed in person and via our direct messages, we have followed up on this and we were made aware that you were offered an alternative and more private room and a plan would be made for meals for the rest of your stay but we could just not accommodate you for that evening as far as a meal go, but as you suggested the road coming down was unfortunately not safe enough for you, this unfortunately, like we agreed upon, is something that is out of our control. However we apologise for the disappointment experienced during your stay and should we ever have the pleasure of having you over again we will go out of our way to prevent these discomforts as this by no means reflects the level of customer satisfaction we aim to offer at Umtamvuna River Lodge. Please contact us directly should you have any further issues to discuss as we would love to resolve these directly with you.

Cleanliness and quality of service
Publié le 29 janv. 2018 sur HotelsAir conditioner was not working in one room ,bathroom door did not lock, no kettle in the room , breakfast on the first day was horrible as the meuseli had weavles, no fruit or juice.

Please accept my sincere apologies for the discomfort and inconvenience you experienced. Your feedback regarding the weavles in your muesli by no means reflects the high standard of quality and service that we aim to offer our guests. I confirm therefore that I have investigated your comments in a serious light and taken action to rectify the shortcomings. I do believe the matters of the muesli, aircon and door were seen to immediately but by no means does this make them excusable.
Your feedback is imperative for us to ensure that our GUESTS’ expectations are being met and exceeded. Without your comments, we would never know when we are doing right, but more importantly, when we are doing wrong! A good place to stay to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. It's close enough to the main roads and town to be easily accessible but just hidden enough in the natural environment to provide the serenity of a getaway. The staff are friendly and willing to assist.
