Building was old, so we're the furnishing and appliances. But everything works. No air-conditioning, no lifts. Definitely not a neighborhood you want to walk around at night, but conveniently close to St George's Park cricket stadium. Friendly staff.
The room was nice and comfortable. The traffic in Cape rd was a bid noisy and I struggled to fall asleep, but for one night, it was okay. We could not connect to the wifi. I think that needs a bit attention.

Disliked: Staff & service
No room service during public holidays
Rooms were not cleaned on public holidays, it was disgusting to use same towels for 3 days. We had to buy our own toilet papers.
The staff were great. Very helpful and friendly! However the location was not so great. In walking distance to most things except the beach and the area that surrounds the hotel is not entirely safe, especially after dark.
I booked 10 on Cape because it was on a main road - thought safety - and 10 minutes walk from a whole load of restaurants. When we got there, we had to get through a gate. I thought 'fair enough'. We couldn't check in as we were a bit early, but the receptionist/owner? took all our details, gave us the keys and said come back in 30 minutes and the apartment would be ready. 'How long to walk to the bars/coffee shops?' I asked. No you don't want to walk, came the reply, it's not safe. This was at 1.30pm in the afternoon.
That put a dampener on things. It's not the apartments fault, but I do like to wander. Good news is that an Uber is only 20Rand to Stanley Street where there are loads of restaurants and bars. The beachfront is a short drive away and is lovely. We did have a great time and the apartments are really lovely and well catered, but I'm glad I wasn't in Port Elizabeth for more than one night.
If my review were for the apartments alone, I would give them 4*. If you have to stay in Port Elizabeth then I would recommend 10 on Cape
The staff are very professional and attend to your needs & requirements to make your stay most memorable. Thank You Diane and your staff you guys are the best in PE
I always enjoy my stay at 10 on Cape the staff their make you feel right at home. Diane & Debbie always make sure to call you and confirm your check in and try their very bust to accomodate you with you arrival and looking after your baggage.

Disliked: Cleanliness
The stay was generally good. Parking can be a challenge for big cars like SUVs and bakkies. Housekeeping is limited but they forgot to replace towels on Friday for the weekend and my advice would be they should give more towels for the weeekend. I had to ask for more soap even though it was finished. I think it is great for summer as they do not have adequate heating system for winter (they do give enough blankets though)
This apartment hotel was exactly what I was looking for the well equipped appartment consisted of a bedroom with small bathroom, office space, lounge area and kitchen. The room was kept spotlessly clean. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Only negative was not being able to receive the free wifi signal in my second floor apartment.
Excellent self catering appartments close to centre and the cricket ground.
Genuine appartment with generous lounge kitchen area, bedroom and small study area.
I stayed on a first floor flat at the rear for one night and on a third floor at the front for a return visit. Get the lower levels at the back if you can - flat at front was very hot and suffered from traffic and Saturday night drunk noise problems.
We were phoned twice on day of arrival to find out when we would be arriving (we arrived at 5h30pm).Carpets were dirty and chair in office nook broken. I asked for WiFi code and received it. When I tried to log on it the message said incorrect code. I reported this the next day but was told the code is correct (inference it is my problem). Apart from this apartment was tastefully decorated and clean.
