Tranquil Getaway

We decided to stay in LV vs. SPI to save on cost and be closer to family. Being originally from the LV neighborhood, this truly was an enjoyable little townhome. This visit was more for family business vs. recreation, so it was perfect to be away from the island hype. I gave this an overall 5 star rating because overall it was an enjoyable location, the full set up in kitchen, availability of dishes, paper towels, and laundry pods was super helpful, The frustrating things we came across was we were not notified the keys were in a different lock box, so I was trying to open the front door for a while while being eaten alive by mosquitos. When we walked in, there was water all over the floor from a leak in aAc, the garage door button wasn’t working, and the dryer button was broken, Thankfully maintenance was quick to arrive in the morning the next day and very efficient in getting things fixed. The property manager was helpful and responsive even in my mood of frustration. We were able to get the late check out so we were able to finish drying the clothes that were wet before we knew the dryer was broken. Great overall experience and will stay again.

Property and location are good. I didnt get a code for the house, but was able to call and get it sorted it out. Maybe make it clear in the listing that boats are not allowed in the neighborhood.

Beautiful little place, but...

Beautiful place. Great team managing the property. But they have a mild bug problem. They did come out and spray a.s.a.p. once notified, but bugs don't disappear immediately. So now our luggage gets to live in our cars to bake in the texas sun. Hopefully it will be resolved before the next people get there, but I wasn't able to relax and VRBO and Vacasa acted like it wasn't a big deal. VRBO's only resolution was to give me the number to Vacasa. I usually book a hotel or through Abnb and I was not ready for this level of nonchalance. It would have been nice to have been switched to a bug free property. Lesson learned.
