The hotel is being closed due to a court case. There is no staff and the service is minimal.

At First I had to pay my rooms even If i booked it here. They Said, they do Not Work together with Expedia. And when I saw the rooms, ibwas Feeling sick. Everything was dirty,, the beds, the bathroom. It seemed,Nobody was in there for years. Don't book this Hotel!!!

The local PNG staff were friendly, however the caretaker who was supposed to be the Hotel Manager was a very rude Indonesian man. First Checked in and the room toilet could not open, so I was moved to anew room which I thought was good but then, the beds did not have proper covers, only white duvets. The bathroom isnt built properly so water splashes all over to the toilet when having your bath. The hotel was still during construction phase so it wasnt that pretty in dining area. I used the kitchen that was at back of house. I wish I could have taken pictures of it but did not think of it at that time. I decided to stay another few more nights as I needed todo more business in the city. I inquired what the rate would be, the local receptionist advised that it would be K180 PNG Kina, I was ok with that and we got to pay that, later in the evening the Indonesian Manager sent the same girl to us advising that it was her error and that we should pay another K180. I as very disappointed as it was already 9pm at night, I would have checked out if that was the case. I advised her that we would pay after I finished cooking our dinner, yet the Manager kept sending the girl back t us for the 3rd time, I gave the money in cash and asked for a receipt. I was told that the receipt would be emailed to me as they dont do receipts and that the real Manager was based in Malaysia, they would have to email him to advise. I was very disgusted as I had never encountered such a system.
