Weekend Away
Publié le 7 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayA pleasurable weekend away! Nice private beach. Enjoyed sitting on the back deck and the large windows facing the bay. Enjoyed kayaking and fishing on the pier. Close enough for a fun day trip into DC. Lovely restaurants in nearby Solomon Island. Would stay there again.

So glad you got to kayak Barb, it truly is a magical experience on the Chesapeake. Hopefully you were able to paddle up Parker’s Creek wildlife sanctuary too.
You are so right about the restaurants and Solomons. We have some of the best seafood restaurants in the DC area. And the charm of all The old Victorian homes just adds to the memorable experience.
I look forward to hosting you again and thanks again for leaving the house spotless. You were fabulous guests.

Bay vacation
Publié le 24 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayThe house was spacious and super clean. Lots of windows with beautiful views. Found lots of shark teeth. Loved the showers! Appreciate the owner having a pack n play, baby gate and baby chair. We had a 1 and 2 year old so had to move some of the breakable items out of reach. The stairs to the beach wore this grandma out though.

Publié le 21 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayThe house was very well maintained, beach access and views were wonderful. This location was very quiet, and if you are a nature lover this location is perfect. Many miles to walk and explore, lots of birds to watch. Very enjoyable weekend. Hope to return.
