Waterfront Paradise with heated pool and access to the Gulf of Mexico

Fishing, boating, and swimming right in your backyard. Watch the dolphins.......5 minutes by kayak (included) to the bayou and 15 minutes to the pristine Gulf of Mexico with no end to the fishing possibilities. Nearby are boat rentals, deep-sea fishing cruises, and kayaks for unlimited fun and entertainment.
This well appointed property includes its own canal to paradise including a private dock but if you plan to use your own boat you will need more waterway information so please don’t hesitate to request it. Also included is an in-ground heated pool which is heated free of charge thru the months of April to October. (Note! if pool heat is desired through the winter months an additional fee will be charged to cover adequate propane pool heat expense). Also included is a screened enclosed lanai and gas grill ( gas supplied)for cooking out, outdoor dining, seating, bar, 3 bedrooms ( 2 king beds, and 1 queen), 2 full baths ( newly renovated throughout) and sleeps 6. All bedrooms enjoy private tvs. Two king bedrooms, 1 queen bedroom,living room, family room with big TV, 2 car garage, 2 bicycles, beach chairs, an inflatable boat for 4, double kayak, 2 fishing rods and so much more. Our home is 15 minutes to Tarpon Springs and the Sponge Docks, 30 minutes to Clearwater, 40 minutes to Tampa International Airport, and minutes to
9 nearby BEACHES and 9 STATE PARKS. This area is referred to as “THE NATURE COAST” because if it’s unlimited wildlife. In addition, we have great shopping,
many attractions and
over 169 restaurants
of every type for
every taste and more. Paradise awaits you.

Scallop house

The house is very tastefully decorated. It is an older house, so it has small issues. Electrical outlets don't work in many spots. No overhead fans or overhead light in the 2 guest bedrooms. Tack strip coming through the carpeting in the family room close to the sliding glass door. There were ants in the kitchen. We went to Walmart and bought some spray and that helped. There were ant traps already out. They didn't seem to be working. The house was very clean.

Lovely home, NOT a hotel-like vacation!

Some places we’ve stayed were sparsely furnished and we needed to go to the store just for essentials. Not here! It felt like a home away from home! My granddaughter loved it, and this was her “summer vacation”. The pool was clean and felt great in this summer heat. We spent a lot of time on the lanai. We had everything we needed and cooked all our meals there. Great communication and quick responses with the owners and the manager. Highly recommended!

Great for busy vacationers

My adult family of 3 agree this was a great place as a “hub” between activities. Nice home away from home with each of us having our own room and space to spread out. Car garage was a bonus!!! Enjoyed modern kitchen, info/ To Do book on counter was super helpful. Finally liked pool and entertain space outside.

Comfortable house, lovely pool!

This house was very comfortable and spacious for my husband, me, our son & his buddy! The pool was fantastic, clean, and the perfect temperature! We loved grilling on the gas grill & hanging out on the linai. Plenty of stores and activities within an hour of the house. The home owners were fabulous and easy to reach if needed. They even popped over to clean up the yard after a big storm! Thank you again Linda & Kenny!

This house was really ideal for our family

The owners went out of their way to make sure that we were comfortable and catered to some of our unusual needs. We called them to let them know that the pool wasn’t as warm as it should’ve been and they were on it so quick and fixed it immediately. We would rent again for sure.

Very Impressed

We stayed at this lovely home for two months. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the cleanliness and comfort of the house. It was well-equipped and felt like a home away from home. The hosts, Kenny & Linda, went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. They were incredibly accommodating, promptly addressing any needs or concerns we had. Their availability and attentiveness made us feel well taken care of throughout our stay. They were approachable and personable, making us feel welcomed and valued. One particular instance showcased their exceptional hospitality…when we found ourselves lacking a few kitchen necessities for a long-term stay, they immediately went out and purchased them, demonstrating their commitment to guest satisfaction. Moreover, the rental boasted a beautiful lanai with a heated swimming pool, furnished with a comfortable sitting area, dining area, and a large barbecue grill. It provided the perfect setting for relaxation and outdoor enjoyment. Without hesitation, we highly recommend this rental to anyone seeking a comfortable and welcoming place to stay. It's rare to find hosts who are so dedicated to their guests' satisfaction. We are grateful for our time here and would gladly return in the future.

Spectacular

Great host! Very easy to communicate with. The house has two living rooms which is great for when the kids want to watch a movie and the grownups want to watch football. The heated pool was covered and ready upon our arrival to ensure it was very warm as the hosts knew how much that meant to us on this late December trip. Definitely recommend!!!!

The perfect holiday getaway

I stayed here with my boys for Thanksgiving weekend and hosted my parents for dinner. The location was perfect and the house wonderfully decorated for the festive season. The kitchen was well stocked with all we needed to make a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner. There were games for my two boys and the pool was heated to the perfect temperature.

First Florida vacation

Everything you would want. Large, spotless home. Pool, floaties, dock, kayak, fishing, garage….the list goes on and on…. Being first timers, we had several questions and Ed, Cindie, Linda and Kenny responded in minutes. Not only letting us know the important stuff like, Are there reusable beach bags? Which there are! To, Where should we go for fun? And the suggestions made for a trip our family won’t soon forget! We will definitely be back!

Review the email from the owners about the current property manager as VRBO cannot seem to be able to update their app info. I would stay at this house again!!!

Looks can be deceiving..

Our Vacation was still Amazing regardless of the misconception of the house. The house was adequate but not worth the price, compared to what we rented in previous years. The neighborhood is suspicious when driving through to the house. The house itself has way to many breakables, I had to keep reminding the kids to be extra careful. The dishwasher does NOT actually clean, there was always dirt particles left and then we had to rewash. The kitchen sink had this black grime along the seems that smell atrocious. The mats rights outside the sliding glass doors to the pool, thoroughly disgusting. The carpet walking back in from the pool is coming up and you walk on the stables if your not conscious. The one night around 1-2 am my husband and I heard a loud bang (scared me to death) he got up and inspected outside to make sure everything was safe and he found nothing and everything was okay, but 2 of the bathroom tiles fell off the wall. The response from the owner was "what was the problem". I received a call and the response I got from that person was "oh yea the house really needs to be remodeled especially that bathroom". The blankets inside the duvets move so much half the time you only have duvet covering you and not the actual blanket. The few pluses are my kids LOVED the pool, I like that it was screened in. They had toilet paper on site so there really was no need to buy it. The Kayak was a great plus my nephew enjoyed going out and fishing with it!

Fabulous!!!

We had a fabulous time at this house! It was so spacious and the pool was wonderful. The pool area was great and we spent a lot of time out there eating supper right off the grill. The kitchen was great and it was nice having filtered water through the fridge (and not having to buy it). Also, having the high speed internet made working by the pool a bonus! And the cable TV, Netflix, Hulu, etc... so many extras. It was hard to leave to go home!

Almost ruined our vacation

Arrived at the house, all was as expected from the description. Hung out with family and around midnight headed to bed. I am somewhat a germophobic and a clean freak so I pulled the sheets back to check them out. We found hair of varying lengths and color throughout the sheets on both queen beds and they did not look like they had been changed from the previous guests. Because it was after midnight we didn't want to call and wake up the owner, instead sent a message through the app. Frankly we were too tired from flying across the country to deal with it at that time. We ended up finding a hotel room 30 minutes away because hotels close to the house were full. When we were able to get in touch with who we thought was the owner, but turned out to be the property manager, Carol, we were yelled at, called liars repeatedly, and told not to go back in the house even though they wouldn't refund any portion of the stay. Carol asked for proof, which we provided, but she continued to call us liars even with our pictures and the receipt from the hotel. Her aggressiveness on the phone and later in text messages left me in tears. The actual owner did reach out and told us we could use the house, but by that time we had found other lodging.

Late April 2022 vacation

The property is nice enough and the location is really good. The decor and furnishings are outdated yet functional. We really enjoyed the private screened-in heated pool, the bicycles and access to some premium channels that we do not normally watch at home. We had one issue that we needed to contact the owner/manager about and they contacted us right away and had the issue taken care of very promptly. The location is right off the busy highway (lots of shopping and restaurants), yet in a nice neighborhood that you can walk or ride bikes in and feel safe. We ate at some local places and enjoyed some delicious meals out. However, we did utilize the full kitchen and the gas grill for meals "at home". We also utilized the washer and dryer which are located in the attached garage.

Perfect Pool and Gulf Experience

When you first walk in, you will find the home to be very clean and inviting. We arrived for a late check-in and my kids jumped right into the pool. There are lights around the pool that make an evening swim just perfect. These are the things that this home offers that make this experience memorable: 1. the pool - we come from the north and it was nice to jump in as soon as we got there and this was all my kids wanted to do - day and night. 2. fishing poles and crab nets provided to fish off the dock - caught some crabs - and cooked them up - my son who broke his collarbone and could not swim, enjoyed fishing for hours and caught some good size fish 3. kayak and boat that allow you to go fish into the gulf - watch the tide and be amazed 4. 30 min from Dunedin Island and 30 min from Weeki Watchi - lifejackets and beach stuff provided by the home 5. Sorrento Sweets just a bike ride away - cruiser bikes in great condition provided at the home 6. TV in every room with Roku 7. Sliding glass doors and windows reflecting the pool waters inside for 4 rooms in the house making the reflection dance off the walls and creating a perfect inside environment 8. Caretaker Cindie who will welcome you and assist you in any needs that unexpectedly arise during your stay. 9. I love that no pets are allowed in the home - it helps my kids with allergies. 10. This home is close to all main restaurants, Walmart, and shopping centers. But we only ate out once - I loved cooking inside while watching my kids swim from the large kitchen window. Only small suggestion: need a couple pizza pans to bake a pizza and a cooler for the beach/pantoon trip. Book here! And visit Weeki Watchi (rent a johnboat from the marina - skip the kayaking...current is too hard) and visit an island along the bay (watch the pantoon rental guys - they tend to have pictures of boats that do not represent the actual pantoon and then they try to upsell you to the nicer ones). Even so, the gulf has the clearest ocean water with the softest sand ever. This place has it all.

Great Time

This was our first time with an extended stay at a VRBO and were a little nervous about finding something wrong. After the first 1/2 hour, we realized any worries were unfounded. This is a very quiet neighborhood nestled in a very busy section of Port Richey. Being at the house feels like you are a world away from the hustle and bustle of the area. When you feel like doing something it's a quick ride to parks, shopping and restaurants. We liked the pool area the most but the kitchen and grill area were super useful to us. Everything is there just show up!
