Mexico Beach is a small, beautiful beach town and was the perfect location for the relaxing, laid-back vacation we were looking for! The condo was very clean and had everything we needed (kitchen utensils, beach towels, beach chairs, etc.). The complex is very family friendly and we had great interactions with the other guests on site. Neither the pool, nor beach, were crowded which made watching our four children easy. Great communication by the host and all relevant information was clearly spelled out in emails prior to our arrival. Book this condo, you won’t regret it!

Publié le 11 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayAbsolutely LOVED our stay in this condo! Communication eith Hayley was perfect the entire time we stayed. Check in was super easy and the condo was immaculate. The location was perfect, you could see and hear the ocean from the balcony! Everything was gorgeous in the condo from the linens to the kitchen, you can tell it is very well taken care of and there is everything you need for your family to enjoy your stay. Amenities are very close by and the town of Mexico Beach is quiet and peaceful even during busy season. I fell in love with this condo while we were there, it was just perfect. We are already planning our next stay!!

Publié le 12 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayEasy access to the beach. Beautiful view from balcony. Great place to stay for family of 6, plenty of space. Liked parking in garage, close to elevator. Nice pool and hot tub.

Mexico Beach condo
Publié le 9 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe property was great - as described with a convenient location across the street from the beach. The owner was responsive and helpful. While Mexico Beach is away from the crazy crowding of 30A, it is not the most charming beach town. The majority of restaurants wiped out by the recent hurricane have returned as food trucks that close by 5, leaving few dinner options close by. I hope the town will continue to rebuild, and if it does we would go back and stay here again!

Thank you for your great comments about the property! We are glad you enjoyed the condo and its proximity to the beach. Mexico Beach is still (slowly but surely) rebuilding. We have a new place opening in the next month or two - Forgotten Coast Brewing Co that will have locally brewed beer and fresh coastal food in a laid-back, family-friendly environment just steps from the beach. Also, Toucan's will start their rebuilding process this summer and hope to re-open in 2025.
While we do enjoy the food trucks for quick bites we also like to make the drive into Port St. Joe (about 15 minutes) for their great dining options (including White Marlin, Brick House, etc.). However, we are still the "forgotten coast" so it definitely will not rival the beach towns of 30A (and their crazy crowding) for a long time. We don't mind making the trade-off sometimes for the seclusion. Hopefully you can visit again next spring and see what Mexico Beach will offer then.
