Du charme, du potentiel...
Publié le 20 juin 2017 sur HotelsHôtel correct mais tombant en désuétute. Chambre bungalow propre avec beaucoup de charme. Serveuse très agréable, serviable. De beaux couchers de soleil. Petit déjeuner continental copieux et de bonne qualité. Paddle et canoe à disposition pour les clients gratuitement. Wifi gratuit et assez rapide au restaurant/bar.
Mais l'isolement sur la pointe de Pango fait que le coût des trajets vers la ville ou l'aéroport sont chers et jamais les mêmes en taxi ou en navette partagée.
Des problèmes pour régler l'eau chaude à la douche : soit c'est brûlant soit c'est froid.
Le restaurant de l'hotel présente 5 - 6 plats différents qui sont à la carte tous les jours, à tous les repas. Pas de variation des menus. Les tarifs des plats sont chers pour la qualité de la cuisine et plutôt décevant : pour les mêmes tarifs on mange bien mieux au restaurant de l'hotel voisin...
Inutile de payer pour avoir une vue océan car le bungalow est dans le jardin avec une légère vue sur mer entre 2 bungalow. L'idéal est ceux sur la plage.

Coco Beach is budget friendly and we definitely got value for money. The fares are basic but bright and airy. We had the huge pool to ourselves every time we used it. The snorkelling out the front of the resort was fantastic. While it was a little further out of Vila than we had stayed before, it meant it was very quiet. We had to walk a fair way to get a bus into town on one day but had a delightful trip home by boat from the jetty in Vila, something we had not done before. The food was good but we did have a day and night where the chef was not in so we went to the resort down the road, Paradise Cove, where the food was incredible and we were treated as if we were staying there. Special mention to Frank and Elton at Coco Beach who looked after us so well during our stay. I would recommend Coco Beach for the person looking to relax and snorkel/swim away for the hustle and bustle of a big resort.

De-stress your life at Coco Beach
Publié le 30 août 2024 sur HotelsLove this place. Staff are genuinely friendly and helpful. The manager gave us rides into town on a few occasions. Clown fish family and plenty of other fish just a couple metres off shore. This is our second time, and we will be back again for sure.
5 o’clock cocktails are a must.
Take a water taxi, for a great way to get into town to avoid the pot holes on the roads.

A characteristic resort which is peaceful , good access to beach abs snorkelling . Idyllic setting , lovely bungalows . Dining area with beautiful view, food is good and the staff friendly and welcoming

Got there the first night alone and there was no one at reception. Three men with torches led me to my room and asked if I was alone. The latches on the window where all broken and didn’t close properly. The floor of the toilet was dirty and there was rat poo on the spare bed. The door handle didn’t feel secure. Left immediately and booked somewhere else as did not feel safe. The property was impossible to get hold of and expedia would not refund me any of the payment (even though I did not spend a single night there). For the price would absolutely not recommend. Would not recommend for solo travel.

Lovely staff and sea views. Quiet and away from bustle of town. Big comfortable room. If you want easy walk to town etc, this resort is away from that but the water taxi is excellent.
