Very special, in a good way.

My personal experience was spectacular, partly because of the actual rental (the decor, the area, the elevator, The Deck!) but mostly because we got the opportunity to meet the owner herself, which is a gem of a person. You meet a lot of people traveling, but Vicki marked me profoundly. As for the actual site, we used it for 48h to visit Portland and Cannon Beach area, while on a 17 days tour of Oregon. The area is very high end, with really nice houses in the hills. It's very easy to get everywhere from there, starting with a short drive to downtown. Ken's artisan pizzeria (the best pizza ever, ever ever) is 15 min away. The upper deck on the 3rd floor is just mesmerizing, and the fact that guests can use it is awesome (please respect this!). The views.... the Views! with Mt St Helen in the background, are overwhelming for a "east coaster". We are travelers and visited many different rentals, and found this one exquisite. Off course it all depends on personal preferences, so read more reviews to see if it works for you. If you end up renting this one, say hi to "mister torso" for me!

Nice View
Publié le 16 déc. 2024 sur HomeAwayPerched on a steep slope, the rooms have a great view through the woods to the east. Easy street parking, nice fireplace, excellent shower, and the separate deck area would be outstanding in better weather.

Hmmmm. Wish I knew why 4 stars and not 5. Well, try it again in the summer when you can use the deck. The view is to the north...that’s Mt.St. Helens and Mt. Adams out there and on a clear day, Ranier can be seen.

Stay in PDX
Publié le 8 nov. 2024 sur HomeAwayIt was alright the place wasn’t super clean and there was roughly about twenty laminated pieces of paper with various instructions or rules that must be followed through the space. Including two in the bathroom. Made it feel very non welcoming.

Well I was out of the country and my place is normally spotless. Never had a comment like this before. I’m shocked and saddened. I have had to post notes because people have caused damage in the past or couldn’t figure things out. I’m sorry you felt that way. Life must be hard for you.

Amazing Space
