Christmas in Portland
Publié le 3 janv. 2025 sur HomeAwayWe had a great time at Nick's apartment, it is spaceous and tastefully furnished. We were able to feel right at home and used the kitchen every day, the dining room had space for all of us which made for some great holiday meals together. The location is nearly unbeatable with just two blocks to the promenade by the water and a short walk to downtown. Congress Street, which is 50 yards from the front door, has a really cool vibe with bars, cafes and restaurants. Yet, you are clearly nestled in a residential area. I feel that in this location you really get the best of Portland, no matter what time of the year.

Great for the long weekend

Family Trip
Publié le 26 août 2024 sur HomeAwayNick was helpful getting us into our place as we were a little confused on the directions. The apartment looked cleaner in pictures. It just needs a little TLC, aka touch-up the white paint. It reminded me of my college housing. Shower curtains need to be washed as well with mold growing at the bottom of them. Little hickup with parking as well. Don't park in the drive for even a short bit. Another family got mad at Nick for us parking there. I tried to make it right and paid for the parking. Nick wanted what the other family weren't going to pay, which was for two cars. I felt paying for two cars was a little extreme. Had we paid for the parking up front, he would have still lost the other family as the directions in the packet advise the parking is "first come first serve."

Hello guests and renters! Please read our extensive complimentary, positive and much appreciated reviews. We pride ourselves on cleanliness and comfort; our units are professionally cleaned and sanitized after every stay and we respond promptly to any needs or requests while our guests are enjoying their time in our space. The parking is not first come first serve, but the reservation of parking is. We do this because we run multiple short term rentals and only have one driveway. Many groups reserve, understand the rules and are not confused like this guest was. The reservation of parking is a benefit that many guests take advantage of and enjoy about the property. We also have keyless entry with simple access instructions that all groups have understood, except for this group. You can't win them all, but we have run short term rentals for 10 years and we enjoy providing people with a clean and comfortable home in a great location. Thank you and see you soon!

Great Location
Publié le 10 août 2024 sur HomeAwayGreat area, so close to so many things. Promenade just a few blocks away, nice for a morning or envening stroll. Lovely older 3 story home. We had a second floor apartment. Comfortable and very clean with 2 baths and a stackable washer/ dryer. Hosts were very easy to communicate with. A great stay!

Great Location!

Very quiet neighborhood within walking distance to the old port, beach and many breweries. It was just the right fit for our party of 7 and Nick was a great host. I highly recommend this property and would stay here again!!

We also didn’t have an issue finding parking either. The unit was perfect for our family of five. We’d stay here again the next time we’re in Portland!
