Family weekend - Portland Winterhawks
Publié le 4 déc. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe property was great. Was close enough to Portland to drive back n forth. We were there to visit with my son who plays hockey for the Winterhawks. The house Had everything we needed; lots of space for everyone. We enjoyed the hot tub in the evenings. Great feature to have!! Would definitely stay again!
The only issue was the rules in the book about the garbage/ recycling, was told we had to take bins out but their were no bins to put out! Didn’t want to get fined and the reply from contact was very vaque.

Wedding week

Had some issues
Publié le 1 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe Dryer was NOT working...no heat. Several of the utensils in the drawer were not cleaned. There was no garbage container for the glass bottles. The one remote for the master bed was reading a LOW BATTERY signal.
We fixed the chair in the living room with a right rear broken leg.

Great location
Publié le 28 déc. 2023 sur HomeAwayWe are so grateful to have stayed here again. Everything in the home is very comfortable and welcoming. The kitchen cleanliness needs some attention (the spice cabinet is overflowing and items fell out). Will definitely stay here again.

Nice place to gather for the weekend
Publié le 1 mars 2023 sur HomeAwayMy adult sisters and parents and I enjoyed this property. It was wonderful to have a hot tub, and this hot tub was lovely. The kitchen was adequately supplied with the things we needed. The furniture and beds were nice and comfortable. We appreciated that there was bedding in the closet for the futon.
A few things you might want to know ahead - there were only 6 shower towels. Luckily we had 6 adults, so that worked. There were not adequate towels to dryer water/snow off the entry floor after bringing in our luggage or using the hot tub. There were only 4 pool towels which was also disappointing.
The floors and walls make a lot of sounds, usually only when people are walking around. We really appreciated that there were fans in the bedrooms that could be turned on for white noise to help with all the sounds.
There was no snow shovel, and we came in the snow storm during the end of February so a shovel would've been very helpful for a path to the hot tub and our vehicles. Luckily we were there when the snow was still fresh so we were able to use the broom to clear some of the snow. However that was tedious and only minimally effective so we did end up dealing with ice for the next few days.
Overall the issues felt fairly minor and we were very grateful to have this house, this location, and this hot tub.
