Cute little hide away

The place was close enough to walk to most of the places we wanted to go to while staying in Portland! The neighborhood seemed safe. The host was very sweet as well. We would definitely stay here again in the future.

Felt Right at Home
Publié le 7 août 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had a great stay in Veronika's apartment! It was super comfortable and made us feel right at home. Even her lovely chickens that greeted us each time we came out, reminded us of our own!
Based on the description, I was a little surprised by the dark basement feel at first, but the plentiful lighting and comfortable furnishings transformed the space. It had nearly every amenity we needed. Plus, the little backyard is lovely and the neighborhood is very conveniently located. We didn't have any issues with parking. Communication with Veronika was great, and she had excellent recommendations for our stay.
If I had any suggestions for improvement, it would be better lighting along the side yard path - it was a bit difficult to navigate in the dark, so we armed ourselves with flashlights. Also, we missed having a full size coffeepot, or perhaps pods - took a while & made a mess trying to get 3 coffee drinkers going in the mornings with just a small press. Luckily, Starbucks is right at the end of the block!
