Tried to check in at 3:00pm as the email I still have stated. Cleaner was still there, we had to wait 15 min. to go in. As we were waiting, things were left undone. Unwashed sheets were stuffed in cupboard; laundry was left running that we had to take care of. No laundry soap to be had. A bar of soap was left used with hair on it in one of the drawers in the bathroom. We were not told until the day of arrival at 10:00am in an email that the pool was not heated and would be an extra charge of $150.00 to have it heated. I immediately paid and was told it would be turned on then, in reality it was set on an auto timer that did not come on till 8:30 pm that night. So, the pool was not heated the first day and we were made to feel that this was our fault as I quote "most guests tell them prior to coming to heat it". This would be a fine policy, but I and my daughter scoured the site we rented from to see if we missed it, we did not and as it takes at least a day for the pool to get warm we were only able to enjoy warm water for a total of 20 minutes for that $150.00. You might not want to get in the pool if you are not agile enough to get out as there are no stairs. It may seem like it is nitpicking, but I have refrained from mentioning everything and the only reason I have said anything now is because I have only ever received excellent service & cleanliness prior to this from the homeowners. We may have to reconsider who we book thru in future.
