Good and quiet. Far from the center of town but not an issue with a car plus taxis are inexpensive. The hotel is a bit old but satisfactory. Suite had ample space and balcony. Beach is within walking distance and it’s amazing. Breakfast is good. Staff is polite. Bikes available for guests. Road has a bike lane. Solid choice.

Cons: Would be nice to have a single king bed but the two individual beds next to each other were okay and large enough for two people.
Location: Great location really close to the beach and there's a fair number of restaurants nearby with reasonable food and prices.
Stayed at this hotel in early April, weather on the island was good and at this time of the year there's barely any other guests so me and my girlfriend had pretty much the hotel to ourselves. It was very easy to get to the hotel (1hr walk, 10 min taxi), the staff was really friendly and helpful, lunch and dinner were moderately expensive and you won't find many vegetarian options but breakfast was free—pastries, cereal, good Portuguese bread and pastries, fruit, scrambled eggs, good coffee, tea, milk and more. The bedroom was really spacious, clean and really nice to come back to at the end of the day sunbathing at a beach 5 minutes away or from the hotel pool.

Pros: nice and clean no fault
Cons: staff to be more welcomeing and helpful more than one pillow each no means of makeing a hot drink.
Location: not much to do but was very relaxing down by the beach, walking along the beach was the best way to the towncenter .
fridge not working air con only half working only some staff were helpful, one night around midnight someone letting fireworks off wasn't very nice just as going to sleep
