If you like cockroachs stay here

I only dared use to make coffe as found 3 Cockroachs in the kitchen.
Not the best bed.

Dear SirWe had noticed the same around the same time around your stay, and we are extremely sorry about that. We have not had this problem before in our history, but unfortunately it has happened here. We have reason to beleive that one of our guests may have brought this in with his luggage.We have washed the entire kitchen area with bleach, washed all the dishes and laid down traps around the entire guest house just in case. We are monitoring the situation very closely and we have not seen any insects for about 1 week now.The beds all have mattresses that are only 1 year or so old. I will look at the bed in your room and act accordling to improve things.Best regards

Hard to find - and no one heard of it
Publié le 27 sept. 2022 sur HotelsArrived after sunset. Searched for almost 2 hours to find the place. Map provided pointed to what was a park with no buildings on it. Asked passersby, that said they lived in the area for over 20 year, never heard of the place or the address. I went into a convenience store and asked for directions - the employee never heard of the place - which was surprising, since when I finally 'stumbled' across the door when a car's headlights briefly illuminated the door, the convenience store was in the same building!
No on-site service, no obvious signage, emailed directions and map was useless. did not feel secure in room. Shared bathroom (sign over the toilet said roof leaked) in a second floor flat with several 'private bedrooms' with common area living room and kitchen.
Not at all what was expected. But the internet connection was very good.

Dear SirI am very sorry you had a bit of a bad experience finding us, but this is the first kind of review like this we have had. I cannot comment on your GPS app that you used to find us, and that it might be defective, but we have a large brass sign on the front door, and provide a description in all our welcome emails. We will review this now to see if we can do better.We always send out various contact numbers and emails that we respond to straight away, however we did not receive any communication from you on the day. We also have an external camera bell that connects with us directly.In our welcome email we describe exactly the service that we offer, also stating clearly that it does not have en-suite bathrooms and that we offer shared accomodation.We do have a small leak at present in our flat roof which we are having some difficulty in locating. We hope to have this rectifiied as soon as possible.Best regards

College Street Abode
Publié le 6 avr. 2022 sur HotelsExceptionally clean inside. Cleaner was very helpful when we arrived. I was on a trip with my son. Downside: bed was extremely uncomfortable with the springs giving us bad backs. Some nights we were kept awake by other people until at least 1.30 in the morning.
Loud noises continuously throughout the night but what I presume was a large outdoor fan

Dear Ms.
We are very sorry about the bad points. Our team are continually trying our best so we take your points very seriously.
This is the first time I have heard about the bad bed, but I will take a good look at the situation here. On the other guests making noises in the early hours, this is largely out of our control. If you had mentioned this earlier and given us a chance, we would have gladly moved you to our larger room on the other side of the building free of charge and had a word or sent a message to the other guests.
As regards the noise from the AirCon unit on the external wall, then this is once again not owned by us and largley out of our control, however we are working on a solution with the owner to have it re-positioned. More guests than not have not found the noise loud, which makes me think that the vent might have been left open in the window.

I liked cleaness most. But room tv doesn't work it had no channel.

Thank your for your response. We try to keep our standards very high and the place in top condition throughout. Thank you for stating that you liked the cleanliness. We appreciate that.
Since the TVs are all Google Andriod, there is no need for a traditional ariel TV wire, since everything is over the Wifi, it does not work like a normal TV. UK TV and Radio could have been downloaded to watch regular TV.
We are here to improve things going forward and we will be letting all our future guests know exactly how to download their preferred TV App from the Google Android store in order to watch TV, Netflix or otherwise.
