Worth a visit if staying in Southsea

Hotel was well positioned for the seafront but did not have a restaurant for lunch or evening meals so it was a bit of a hike to get food. Parking was good with space for 5 cars out front and street parking available too. Room was lovely and well kept with a jacuzzi corner bath and large walk in shower. Water pressure was poor..it took nearly 20 mins to fill the bath and the shower pressure wasn’t suitable for hair washing. Breakfast was provided and service was excellent. If I were to be fussy, I’d prefer not to look straight into a kitchen full of buckets and cleaning things whilst I eat, but it wasn’t the end of the world (it just ruined the illusion). Breakfast itself was well cooked and tasty…again if I were to be fussy, the poached eggs were over cooked (dry) and the toast was warm bread with no sign of changing colour. However that could happen at any hotel! All in all a pleasant stay, with friendly staff and great cleanliness

Lovely stay

I let them know that I might be late checking in and they were very helpful about that possibility- in the end it wasn’t necessary. Room was lovely and uniquely decorated. Shower pressure absolutely awful sadly. Breakfast has a great selection but I’d prefer if it started at 0700 instead of 0730.

Lovely friendly hotel.

The staff were so helpful & accommodating, we were on the top floor, which was difficult for us as 4 flights of stairs, the lovely young lady on reception said she would check to see if she could change are room to ground floor, which made all the difference to our stay. Food was lovely.
