DOWNTOWN DOVER: Directly outside your door you will find plenty of sites, shops, & restaurants! Youâll discover amazing locations for breakfast, lunch, and dinner â as well as breweries, museums, barber shops, and live entertainment.
THE RIVERWALK: An attractive stroll in the middle of one of NH Seacoastâs busiest cities. This 1200 foot walk follows an oxbow river bend around a former mill building.
DOVER COMMUNITY TRAIL: A multi-use trail with breathtaking views of the Cocheco and Bellamy Rivers. You'll find ample scenic views, points of interest, and convenient access points along the 6.4 mile stretch. Opportunities for bicycling, walking, hiking, bird watching, and fishing. The trail is comprised of two sections: a paved urban section stretching three-quarters of a mile from the Transportation Center to Fisher Street, and a natural section, two and a half miles long following the Cocheco River from Beckwith Ballfields to Watson Road.
GARRISON HILL TOWER: Second only to Mount Agamenticus, the tower atop Garrison Hill is the best place to take in the entire seacoast region. Thanks to hard working volunteers, this popular Dover attraction has been fully restored. Scarcely visible from the road, this tower is Doverâs secret jewel. Visitors must know where to turn to climb the hill and get a natural high. Seek out this Dover landmark.
DOVER TRAIN STATION: Amtrak Downeaster stops in Dover allowing for train travel to the city from Boston and Portland, or back and forth.
C&J BUS SERVICE: Links up Dover with frequent daily round-trip service to Logan International Airport, Boston, and New York City.
