About the inside of the house: One queen bed, two full beds, a queen futon, a couch, and several chairs available. A kitchen nook available for ‘together’ meals. Bedding, sheets, towels provided. Kitchen fully equipped with cookware, utensils, plates, cups, etc. Appliances include fridge, oven, stove, microwave, and coffeemaker. One full bathroom.
About the outside of the house: you will find a large patio area with a picnic table, a grill,, and other chairs for soaking up the views. A dock with two slips is available for mooring your boat. The house faces east and the sunrises (and moonrises) are breathtaking. Sunsets are equally amazing and can be viewed best by paddling or boating just off shore.
About Pawtuckaway Lake: The lake is 1000 acres, 3 miles long, and 50 feet at its deepest point, with many small islands and quiet coves. Clean water, and some of the best fishing in NH with over a dozen fishing tournaments each year (largemouth, smallmouth, pickerel, black crappie, hornpout, yellow perch, bluegill). Frequent sightings of bald eagles, ducks, geese, and loons. Summer nights often filled with the beautiful wail of the loons. Dozens of trails to explore, including the quite popular moderate “Fire Tower” hike.
About Jampsa Trail: a quiet winding 0.75-mile dirt road with just a few friendly neighbors with occasional sightings of deer and wild turkeys.
