Quiet home in Powell

Small Cottage, Big Charm

A tiny bathroom that is uncomfortable if you would need more space for leg room and elbow room. The furnace pilot light was on so we had to run the AC units all the time, otherwise overnight we could have got by with a fan. Otherwise not bad.

Didn’t feel safe
Publié le 16 août 2023 sur HomeAwayProperty is clean. It’s tiny, I knew that when I booked it. The couch was so cold and scratchy. That definitely needs updated. I reached out to the property manager when I found a kitchen window with a broken lock. I was staying alone for a weekend and did not feel as safe knowing all windows were not locked! The front door also needs a dead bolt!!

A place to sleep

Good. Simple

The home itself was very simple but very usable. Bathroom is small, so be aware.
The property itself was under cared for when we arrived. Tall weeds and grass, stood out on the block as the only yard that had not been mowed. Tree in front yard had I trimmed branches and the back yard was much the same. Was not sure if the driveway was for this house or the neighbors (shared drive??) so we parked on the street. The backyard is adjacent to the “shared drive” and neighbors yard so it was not an inviting space. This home’s property managers need to take more time and care.
All that said, the home was nice and we enjoyed our time in Powell. Would stay again over a hotel.
