Overall ok experience but cleanliness was horrible
Publié le 15 sept. 2021 sur HomeAwayThe front and back porch was infested with bug feces And had huge spiders that could walk off with your luggage. They both needed a good power wash. The windows outside and inside were filthy and had dead bugs on the seals. There was a boys undershorts by the back porch and a hairbrush full of someone’s hair in the one bathroom drawers. This place obviously was not cleaned thoroughly.

Cute and convenient
Publié le 11 juin 2021 sur HomeAwayThe property was well located, easy drive to Duck, Corolla, and other islands. Family enjoyed the large pool and staff very friendly. Cottage was cozy, clean and better than we imagine.

Frustrating
Publié le 1 juin 2021 sur HomeAwayWhen we arrived, there was no running water. Talked to emergency help line at property management company for hours with now one available to help. Their reply, we are just the messengers. After two days, and many hours on the phone, while at the beach, they finally sent a plumber who fixed the problem. They did offer to let us out of the lease so we could just go home. Also, there was no place to put our garbage. Instead of wasting our time looking for a dump, we let it pile up in the kitchen and porch. Customer service was awful. They never called us back when they said they would. Will not stay at places managed by Kitty Hawk Rentals again.
