Rustic Pocono Cabin On Small Lake
Publié le 18 août 2024 sur HomeAwayNice, rustic, well used, comfortable cabin. Lovely Summit Lake with fish to catch and the host providing a row boat, canoe and kayaks. There is a nice fire pit for campfires, the host providing the firewood and comfortable seating. Located away from other attractions, the cabin and grounds made a nice place for our family vacation.

Relaxing Getaway
Publié le 26 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe property was secluded and relaxing with beautiful views. House and decks could use some maintenance and updates. It was clean and comfortable - plenty of space. Camp across the lake gets noisy.

Thank you, Cathrin. As you may have noticed, we just replaced the entrance doors. The new doors, together, were a $1,000 less, 3.5 years ago. The log siding has some repairs scheduled for next month. Replacing 4 rows of logs for 10 feet is $3,500. Our near future plans are to follow the new entrance doors with rustic screen doors, and new carpeting for the living area. We are also removing some trees, so we expect it will be more opened up for next year. Best regards, Jim

The place was great. We especially liked the fire pit area and the dock area. Thanks for everything. Rich Wilcox

Pocono Heaven
Publié le 19 févr. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe stayed here President’s Day weekend 2024 and had a wonderful time. Very comfy cozy. Only approximately 25 minutes away from Elk Mountain which was very convenient. Just make sure you bring everything you need as the stores locally may not have what you need.

nicer than the pics make it look… kind of
Publié le 3 sept. 2023 sur HomeAwayI stayed here with 7 friends. We showed up to the property and actually thought the pictures didn’t do it justice, a lot nicer! We had an amazing stay, and the AC works good during the hot summer months (not as much in the loft). Tip- bring toilet paper, garbage bags, and paper towel. It says provided but there was 1-2 of each. A couple little things we thought that could make this place even better:
1. More seating. it sleeps 10, but there is only seating at the table and couches as well as dock for 5-6.
2. Clean/update carpets. Just so old and dirty.
3. Lighting outside- rope lighting by the fire and down to the dock would look stunning.
Really fun trip and really amazing stay.
