I usually do not post reviews at Expedia but I think it is important to warn about the experience, I recently had at Jungshoved Præstegård.
When I arrived, I was told by the person, who checked me in that the room I had booked, the Classic room, only had a shared bathroom a fact I had not noticed at the reservation.
When she, a young woman from Ukraine, saw my reaction, she was kind enough to offer me a room with a bathroom, because, as she said, you are the only guest anyway.
I was of course happy with the solution and enjoyed my stay so much that I decided to extend for another night.
Later, I met the owner of the place, who appeared very forthcoming and nice until she at checkout in a very unpleasant way informed me, that the room I had occupied was much more expensive than the one I had paid for and on a very businesslike way presented me with an extra charge of 3000 kroner.
The amount included 3 breakfasts but still, an outrageous amount, in particular since I was not informed that the change of room would be charged on top of what I already had paid.
When I tried to challenge the amount, she became very agitated and consequently I decided to pay and put the entire thing on my very short list of unfortunate travel experiences.
To add to the bad attitude, I was denied a late check out, even though the place was empty and no one else needed the room.

Our impression was that you were highly satisfied with the stay and our place, which was stated numerous times.We therefor also want to be clear about a few of your points in the review, that we seem to have different memories of.It seems that the price difference when changing from our budget friendly room with external bath to one of our luxury rooms wasnt communicated clearly enough, despite that we did inform you at several occasions.We will investigate our method of communication to make sure that we are more clear to avoid future misunderstandings with our guests.However, we are sorry if we at any point appeared unfriendly to you, which was never our intentions.Lastly and to be fair, you did have a late check out at no cost,so we are sorry to read that you were denied one, which was not the case.We are sorry to add an overall less fortunate experience of your stay, but do hope that you enjoyed the rest of your time in Denmark.

Helt fantastisk lantlig miljö med mycket charm och känsla i prästgården. Ägarna är otroligt trevliga och hjälpsamma, man känner sig som hemma. Fin frukost som man kan njuta på verandan med fantastisk utsikt över fält och hav.
Här vill jag bo fler gånger!
