House was good - pool costs extra

We (4 people) stayed in the house for 4 nights. Unfortunately the tablecloth got dirty and one wine glass broke. I immediately confirmed to pay for that of course. But what happened with the hottube was just making money from guests. We had to pay XXX€ on top afterwards because the pool was completely dirty, etc. (That's what the landlord said). We used the cover all the time, we used the hottube according to the rules and in total we used it for about 3-4 hours. Landlord sent us pictures from the "cloudy" water. We discussed that and I also explained that during our trip it was very windy (what the landlord confirmed) so when we used the pool maybe some small leaves were blowen into the pool but we tried to fish them out as well. Anyway, after we discussed that the cloudy water was not a big mess and came from normal conditions, the landlord sent another pictures 30 min later with a lot of leaves in the pool. On this picture you can see that he opened the filter to change it and in the filter you have small leaves, etc. of course (thats what the filtersystem should do) and than we went from "water is cloudy" to "you see? A lot of leaves in there". So they just try to get any point to charge you extra costs. Ps. There was a security camera at the pool spot. I told the landlord to check the camera so he can see that cover was used all the time. Answer was, there is no security camera. I can recommend the house but you should calculate extra money for your trip.

The filters contained a large amount of leaves, insects, sand, and other debris. This level of contamination clearly indicates that the hot tub cover was not used properly, leading to its severe pollution. We had to drain the hot tub, thoroughly clean it, replace the filters, and refill it with new water. This level of dirt could not have been removed with even the strongest cleaning chemicals. Additionally, you were provided with the house rules, which included guidelines for cleaning up before entering the hot tub. It appears that this was not followed. We also want to clarify that we do not have security cameras in these areas, so your statement could not be verified. Your review does not align with our findings and experience during your stay. We trust that in the future you will adhere more closely to the house rules to prevent similar situations from occurring. Thank you for your understanding.
