Avis Hillside Hideaway - Prescott Cabin Rentals

Wonderful covered porch. Weather was perfect and cool breeze.

This is a great little cabin if you're looking to get into the mountains and the quiet, yet still be just a short drive down into town as well. (It's not where it shows on the map when you click the listing. It's south of town up in the mountains.) You're definitely in the woods and nature with a family of deer roaming around the property and hardly any cars or people around. Our biggest issue was the perceived layout and size of the property. While it definitely fit the 6 of us, it's really only a one bedroom and two "sugar shacks" detached from the main house. The front room in the main house has a day bed with a trundle but it's not really a separate bedroom and you have to walk through it to access the bathroom on the main floor. The master bedroom is down a tight set of stairs and is nice and private. The main kitchen and dining area is adequate and comfortable.

Just what we needed. 4 of us were racing in a local off-road gravel bike race. Property was convenient to town and race location. Quiet and had all the amenities we needed. Would consider coming back for next years' race. Property is good luck as 2 of our 4 had age group podium finishes !!
