Rooms very tired looking, wet carpet due to a leak and made the room smell. Wasn’t picked up during daily room service (stayed 4 nights) and when I reported it, there was no apology or thanks. Reception staff not friendly however I couldn’t fault bar/restaurant staff and conference staff, their attentiveness is the reason I will return for meetings only

I am sorry your stay didn’t seem to meet your expectations and I agree the hotel is a little tired. We have begun a painting program which will focus on the bedrooms first and hopefully give the space the lift it needs. Real value for money , really helpful staff .. large clean room , if a bit dated. Great location off the M6.. would visit again
