Overpriced small room
Publié le 6 nov. 2023 sur HotelsWe booked what was described as a "Luxury Double Room" at £200/night. Our room was very small, just enough to walk round the bed. The mattress on the bed has seen better days. The en-suite shower room was OK.
I wouldn't describe this as luxury in any way!
Breakfast was good. The location is peaceful with nice views. The staff were friendly.
Due to the poor value i wouldn't recommend staying here

Perfect retreat
Publié le 1 sept. 2022 sur HotelsVery friendly and professional. The Cartford Inn is in a lovely setting with views over the river and fields. Good food and excellent service. One very minor issue, the bed was soft on one side and hard on the other, but apart from that everything was perfect and I'll definitely be back.

Amazing stay as always. Lovely, individually designed rooms with great views of the river. Staff were very friendly and the food was lovely.
