Lovely Getaway
Publié le 24 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayBeautiful lodging on the creek. Hosts very helpful. No fireplace as listed, but there are 2 fire pits. There's an interior shower (that wasn't clear to me as i reviewed the listing) as well as as a toaster oven, a small sink, 2 tv screens, a table & chairs & more.

Perfect Getaway
Publié le 17 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe 2 of us were looking for a place to unwind and this was perfect. Easy access but secluded from the world. The cabin is a very nice well maintained and simple. The diversion we needed from our busy complex lives. We are looking forward to going back.

Quiet and loved the outdoor living space!

The stream that ran past the house was soothing and drowned out all the noise that could've been heard from the neighbors (we heard not a thing). The cabin was wonderful. We particularly enjoyed sitting outside by the firepits and enjoying our meals outside. The only thing that would've enhanced our stay is to add hot chocolate to the selection of K-cups. The owner was nice to give us access to a different wi-fi network as it was not working when we arrived. We would definitely recommend this cabin!

Remarkable Cabin

Hosts are kind and so help[ful. Detailed attention to many extras provided in the cabin. It is a busy and popular area but still so relaxing and luxurious. We hope to return soon and often!

Awesome Anniversary Get-Away!
Publié le 6 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayWe recently stayed for a week at the Carriage House for our 35th wedding anniversary. We found the home to be warm, cozy, and romantic. It was the perfect size for the two of us. We spent many hours just hanging out on the decks next to the roaring stream!
We took advantage of the proximity to the Sundance resort for a meal and a long ride on the lifts for *incredible* 360 degree views of snow covered peaks. Brunch at the Foundry grill was great!
We also enjoyed exploring the small towns of Heber, Midway snd Charleston. We loved the buffalo pizza at Cafe Galleria in Midway, and burgers at the Back 40 in Heber. We recommend the Heber Valley Dairy in Midway for their cheeses and ice cream!
Our time at the Carriage House was amazingly relaxing and we can’t recommend it enough!
