No reservation!!!

Despite the Expedia confirmation and my correspondence with the hotel prior to arrival, when we arrived first we had to wait over an hour for anybody to arrive at the reception, only to hear that our reservation does not exist. After a tiring trip we had to run around the city to find any hotel that looks acceptable and has free rooms left. All that with full luggage, burning noon sun and a child. Stay away from that hotel! Shame on Expedia that they sell a hotel that claims no work with Expedia!!!

Hotel sencillo con pocos detalles

Multitud de detalles fallaron: acababan de pintar y la habitación tenía un fuerte olor a pintura, muy desagradable. No admitían nada más que pago en metálico. En la ducha no tuvimos agua caliente en varias ocasiones. No tenían secador de pelo, incluso prestado de recepción. El bar/restaurante que había justo debajo de la habitación hacía un ruido enorme hasta bien entrada la madrugada, con lo que era difícil descansar. El hotel está bastante destartalado y necesitaría algo más que una mano de pintura.

Cheguei no Hotel, por volta das 11:30hs estava fechado, não tinha nínguém para me dar maiores informações, não recebi nenhum informação com antecedência. Tive que arrumar outro Hotel. Quando estava no aeroporto recebi uma mensagem atravês do expedia do horário do check-in 08:30hs.

Es una buena opción de hospedaje

Pour : El precio y la ubicación
Contre : A veces no hay agua caliente, trabajar un poco mas en la limpieza de los baños.
Es una buena opción de hospedaje en Puerto Ayora, es muy económico, la tarifa incluye el desayuno, es mas una casa de huéspedes, el personal es muy atento. La ubicación es muy buena ya que está en la avenida principal y muy cerca del muelle y de las tiendas para hacer compras.

Nice place - but be careful

The hotel is alright. It takes a few minutes until the hot water makes its way from the boiler to the room. And: somebody stole 20 out of 180 Dollars from my wallet when I left it in the room.

Pour : Location! The manager had bit of attitude and made no effort to understand me (in my broken Spanish) or speak English. Other staff members were great!
Emplacement : Right in the middle of everything in Puerto Ayora. GREAT location!
Happy with everything except the cleanliness of my sheets; the pillow in particular smelled like dirty feet.

Good location, Easy on the budget

Pour : Great location to hit local restaurants, pubs, tourist shopping and walking around the bay. Very close to harbor area.
Contre : Wifi is poor but this is throughout the islands.
Emplacement : Stated above
The hotel works a bit different than other hotels as there is no night staff but the property is still secure. The location is great as it is on the main corridor of the town and very close to the harbor / pier area where most boat tours start / finish from. The hotel is not luxurious but is clean and comfortable. Breakfast is served every morning on the top floor which has a good view of the bay and is the best place for Wifi reception. Wifi is poor on all the islands and I found that most restaurants have the best reception. If you are looking for a moderately priced place to stay, clean and good location. This is the place for you.

Very First night room was not even cleaned from previous guests. Hair from other people in shower and in sink. Sheets didn't even look like they were even changed. There was a language barrier so I just dealt with it. Hotel review online was very misleading for $80/ night. You're paying for the location.

Non male

Albergo molto pulito, ordinato, con una bella terrazza nell'area della colazione. In camera c'è una grande tv a schermo piatto, l'aria condizionata e bagno privato con l'acqua calda (nessuna di queste cose sono scontate nei lodge delle Galapagos). La colazione consiste in uova, mortadella, cornetto vuoto, burro e marmellata. Nel periodo in siamo stati nell'albergo la connessione Wifi funzionava solo nella reception e non era disponibile in camera. La camera viene pulita ogni giorno ed anche gli asciugamani vengono cambiati ogni giorno (cosa non comune nei lodge) La posizione è perfetta: nel bel mezzo di avenida Charles Darwin, la strada principale. Nonostante tutti i vantaggi elencati sopra il Lodge e' piuttosto impersonale: a parte la zona colazione il resto non è affascinante e ha alcuni piccoli difetti: non c'è lo specchio in bagno, non c'è nessun posto/balcone dove è possibile asciugare il costume da bagno, le scale per salire alle camere sono piccole e scomode per trasportare i bagagli. A Puerto Ayora, in questa fascia di prezzo (60$ a notte), ci sono molte opzioni che, se non avete bisogno di aria condizionata e tv a schermo piatto, potrebbero essere preferibili.

A localização é excelente e as instalações, ruins.

Pelo valor cobrado, poderia haver um cuidado maior. Recomendável apenas em caso de falta de opção.
