A wonderful option for lodging. Tatiana, the manager was outstanding and so helpful. Rest of staff were very helpful as well. Walkable to everything in town. Our room overlooking the bay was great to watch all the action.

Great hotel in a lovely town
Posted Mar. 5, 2024 on HotelsThis was a great location for town. Easy to walk to everything. A pretty hotel with alot of it outside (covered with breezes). Very friendly staff. The pools were nice to relax in after the heat and adventures. I had things planned arleady but many did excursions right from the hotel. We used the family room which was perfect for us.

Staff were attentive and helpful. Staff member arranged taxi for us for day trip. Timely and affordable. Did not like that free tea coffee is offered yet, no cups available in the afternoon. The front door is locked at night which is great however, its difficult to open with key. Sliding door to balcony in room hard to lock and unlock and is somewhat loose on tracking. When having a shower turn tap on just a little bit,3 minutes before your ready to get in...shower will warm up to hot at which time you can you can turn up waterflow. Great location as it's just a staircase to the beach. So close your able to hear the sea lions from room. Great view from balcony. Overall good value.

The staff were great. Very helpful and friendly - gave great recommendations. Hotel was a little tired although had charm and was clean and the location, view and staff made up for it. Nice to have the pools. Breakfast was also good. Would definitely recommend.

hola estimado Armando, gracias por valorar su estadía en el hotel Casa Opuntia. Su reserva en linea era de dos pasajeros por tres días, pero al hacer el check in, llegaron con un adulto adicional, debido a eso debimos cobrar un valor adicional para cubrir el hospedaje y los desayunos extras. La habitación que usted escogió y reservó, es muy amplia y tiene una cama matrimonial y un cuarto anexo con dos camas sencillas, debido a ello a la hora de hacer el cobro, usted insistió que escogió esa habitación porque sabia que tenia camas extras, y por ello podía traer a dos o una persona adicional sin costo extra. Esa no es la política del hotel, ya que la habitación se cobra por la cantidad de personas que se hospedan y la cantidad de desayunos que consumen. Nuestro horario de desayunos es de 7AM a 9AM, sus familiares indicaron durante nuestro briefing de bienvenida que ellos se despertaban a las 10 AM y solo luego desayunaban. También nos apena la molestia de sus familiares por los cambios climáticos de la isla, en particular en los pocos momentos de lluvia o garúa. Esperamos que hayan disfrutado de la ubicación del hotel, en el malecón frente al mar, de las instalaciones cómodas y limpias, del desayuno bufete en el jardín frente al mar, y la atención personalizada de nuestro equipo de trabajo. Esperamos poder recibirlos nuevamente en Casa Opuntiasaludos desde la isla encantada de San Cristobal

We were initially rather disappointed that we were not given a room at the front of the hotel overlooking the beach as expected. The room we were given is up several flights of stairs which is difficult for us with our health concerns. However we have a lovely view and the staff are all very helpful and friendly. The breakfast area is delightful and the hotel is very central so all in all a good choice.
