Overcharged. Loud, don't get fool.

They charge me more than what I had on my reservation with no notice. I had to pay whatever they asked or they won't give me a room. Hot tub is not hot. I ask for an extra towel an extra blanket and of course they didn't have it. And the front desk lady said "in 10 years no one have ever ask them for an extra blanket"
All the rooms are facing a social area which is very loud. One night we couldn't sleep any longer that 6.20am because you can here people chatting in the breakfast area.
Don't get fool by the nice pictures.

buenos días, si usted indica que le cobraron mas de lo que correspondía por favor enviar las evidencias, y es obvio que si no estaba pagado no podía ingresar la habotación. Nosotros damos toallas extras pero para uso de la piscina pero no para llevarse a la playa o sacarla fuera del hotel

The only convenient thing about Blue Marlin Hotel was the location. You can definitely find places to eat and visit around this area but please do yourself a favor and don’t go there. The pictures may seem decent but the customer service we received was terrible. The lady at front desk (owner) was unprofessional, she had an attitude and charged us $25 for a towel we never took. On the other hand, the cleaning staff took a towel that belonged to us and we had to wait two days for them return it. We felt uncomfortable in the facilities not only for the terrible customer care but mostly due to the poor cleanliness of the rooms and common areas such as the pools, the dinning area and the social area. The room we stayed in was filthy, with stained carpets/mats and dirty linens. The bed sheets and pillows smelled really bad. The bathrooms towels and floor mats were old and stinky too. The bathtub had humidity stains all around it. You can actually see the fungus/mold all over it. The dining experience was terrible as well. Breakfast is included but it is not worth it at all, unless you want to have hotdogs in ketchup sauce for breakfast. The fruits, coffee and butter with jelly did not taste fresh. The pool was freezing cold and they never turned on the whirlpool. We were told that we had to let them know two hours ahead for they to turn it on and when we did ask for it, they said they only keep it on until 5pm very day. So we never got to use it. Totally ridiculous!

Buenos días, nosotros no cobramos nada que no esten establecidas dentro de las politicas del hotel, si se le cobró por una toalla es debido a que no estaba en la habitación o se la llevó a uno de sus excursiones, lo cual no está permitido. Cualquier comentario debe tener pruebas, en este caso de que usted menciona que no estaban limpias las instalaciones. Dentro de nuestros servicios no se menciona que la piscina es temperada, o no se quien le informó que si lo era. El jacuzzi está prendido hasta las 8 pm. Nosotros tenemos videos de todo, si usted quiere se lo mostramos, pero creo que quedaría mal, ademas ya sabiamos que pondría estos comentarios y por eso sacamos videos de las cámaras de seguridad.

The hotel location was great, close to everything. Staff really nice. The breakfast can be better. The rooms are dated, but very clean. Worth the money.

The hotel is good overall, I’m having issues with their overcharge on my stay for 2 nights. Ask for receipt if you are paying cash.

I normally don’t write reviews but now I feel propelled to say something. This hotel appears nice and clean. It is right at the city center. However the staff is not friendly. The girl who worked on the weekend could care less about what you need. When I wanted to leave the key there when I was going for a swim, she refused to take my room key in the reception. When I have WiFi problem in my room, she says it works on her phone and nobody had complained except me therefore she refused to help. The kitchen staff would not serve me when I told them I’m in a hurry to go to a morning program. They would serve everyone else first even though I was the first to arrive the kitchen.

The property lists a hot tub, but the hot tub isn't hot, basically making it a small pool next to the pool.
