The Diamond Club check in process is very slow. Other than that its a good spot to vacation

Third time at this property. The first two visits were excellent, but my last visit was disappointing.

beautiful is an understatement for this resort.. everything was amazing! the food was great, staff were very helpful and there is sooo many things to do! will recommend to everyone who wants to visit mexico.

We booked the presidential one bedroom suite with rooftop pool. When we arrived the pool was dirty and the jets didn’t work. The refrigerator, microwave and wine chiller also did not work. Our jacuzzi tub worked however once the jets were turned on some brown rust residue came out all inside of the tub! We were not happy as we were here to celebrate a birthday. The pillowcases had paint like stains on them, a lawn chair on the rooftop was broken….things started out as a disaster! Our butler was Jesus Torres. He was awesome! He took all of our issues seriously and worked to get things corrected. Everything was fixed except the wine chiller and the jets in the rooftop pool. If it wasn’t for Jesus, our vacation would’ve been completely ruined. While the resort needs some upgrading, the food was decent. Best restaurant was armadillo. Service was good overall but Royalton needs to do better with this property’s upkeep as well as room amenities. Shout out to Hugo the pool/cabana attendant. He took care of us and made sure we had a nice spot at the pool everyday of our stay.

The property is very dated. The HydroSpa was freezing cold and the heat did not work. Floors were dirty. Jacuzzi tub did not work. We were charged for excursions that we did not authorize. It is a major timeshare property and kept trying to sell us even though we told them no several times.

WiFi not working, not an adults only, phones wouldn’t work half the time, room service took at least 45 minutes, restaurants and diamond lounge was too hot. They also charged me twice for the stay
