The house was clean, bottled water available, warm and cozy. It was fun to stay in an area that reflect Puerto Penasco instead of removed as in a resort setting. We felt safe (parking was great) and still a part of a community. Thanks.

Beautiful Property, Nice Owner, Heart of the Culture

It’s in the middle of a neighborhood that, for us Americans, seems like a run-down, unsafe place to be staying. Spending time there however, I quickly changed my mind the first day. People who live here are respectful and this seems to be a normal neighborhood for this area. My mind quickly flipped from feeling unsafe to thinking how cool it was that we were living like the locals do. I’m sure like any other city there is crime that you still need to look out for. At no point did I feel unsafe once I got a feel for the people around us.
The property is very nice and built by the owner himself. Oscar is a very friendly guy with an entrepreneurial spirit who is spinning many plates. This Vrbo is only one of his many business ventures. There’s little things here and there to nitpick, like low water pressure, that he can’t do much about due to the infrastructure of the city. The space gives you a mini resort feeling and safety of high walls with sharp prongs on the top. Oscar also lives on the property so if you need anything, he’ll be there very shortly.
I encourage you to stay here if you’re going to stay in Puerto Penasco. You won’t get the same cultural vibes from a beachside resort.

Amazing stay!
Publié le 19 juin 2023 sur HomeAwayCouldn’t have been better! the house itself was both beautiful and super clean, and the host was very communicative and answered all my questions! they went above and beyond helping us get a cake and some balloons. their area for parking with a locked gate made us feel very safe! and in a good location close enough to the city and beach! WILL100% BOOK AGAIN!

Unit looked nice neighborhood not so much
