Rocky point

The unit was roomy and open, kitchen had most everything we needed, and the view was great - walk down the stairway and your on ths beach. Only issues we had, is the 3rd bedroom is NOT connected to the main unit - it is completely separate. That was ok, as we had no small children with us. The VRBO description failed to mention that. Also the parking is a shared space behind the unit. There is a garage, but did not have access to it? Don't know why?

Great stay

The home was very nice and very close to the beach which was a big plus. All the rooms had huge beds and their own restroom which was another plus for my family. The home was clean and had everything we needed to have a great time at the beach. The only thing that wasn't that great was the noise in the area. There were a lot of people driving around all night and the neighbors were partying until the wee hours of the morning as well as screaming kids. Very noisy. But we still managed to enjoy ourselves.

MOST HORRIBLE VRBO EVER - UNSAFE!!!!

For our 20th anniversary we wanted to rent a condo in Rocky Point (one of our favorite places) We intended to book Las Palmas as our grandkids would join us for the weekend/we know they have fun slides. NOPE!!! We were snowed! This place is not Las Palmas-it's Casa Las Palmas (BEWARE)Upon picking up the keys, rental manager informed us to make sure we lock doors as there was a break in last week and someone had a bag stolen. Driving to the condo was a bad alley with trash everywhere. The place is NOT marked at all. We searched for 15 minutes to figure which condo it was. When entering house it was dirty & dog hair everywhere. Third bedroom is outside and looks like it was broken into. To get to the beach,my husband had to jump the wall and lean into the door to open it. Shades are broken.The beach is gross-trash/very seedy! The deck had no draining so the sand from our washed feet remained there.There were no cleaning products to wipe down cabinets.We eventually found the laundry room as it was marked Owners Only-who doesn't give access to laundry facilities at a beach?Doors dont lock.We tried to order food/no cell service. The drains don't drain in the bathrooms.They supplied 2 bath towels and no one came by to even offer more towels. By the 4th day, we had to leave as we think we got bed bugs. We started itching horribly.LUCKILY we found another clean condo at Las Conchas.When we turned in the keys I asked if property manager had ever seen this property-NO! Stay away!

Recommend to families! Clean, balcony overlooking the beach, 3 king beds, up to date appliances, and comfortable. I can’t think of any concerns and we are definitely coming back!

Water leak, bedroom flooded

We arrived Friday night, Aug. 19th. Late night, early morning, there was a big storm. Lots of rain. Woke up to a flood of water in the main bedroom and hallway. There was one single mop and no strainer. We attempted to clean it up, but to big a project to clean. Called emergency number at 6 a.m. left message. Called again at 7 a.m. left message. Called office at 9 when opened. Someone didn’t get there until 11 a.m. didn’t have the proper equipment to clean up. Didn’t return until 1 p.m. of course we had to wait until they cleaned up to leave and lock up the house. The lock at the back gate was removed so we had no security at night from the beach. We lost 1/2 a day of our only full day waiting. I would like to request that I get some sort of compensation for the day lost waiting for clean up. Other then that, the house was a great retreat.
