Publié le 5 oct. 2022 sur HomeAwayWe just returned from 4 nights at this wonderful property. The kitchen was well stocked and bedrooms/bathrooms were all nicely setup. I was a little worried about the 11th floor being too high up for a good beach view, but the view was incredible. The view is slightly eastward, so better for watching the sunrise than the sunset. But there are lots of places on the property to sit and watch the sunset. Check in was super easy, and the owner was very responsive to my questions. I'd definitely consider renting this property again.

Publié le 7 mars 2022 sur HomeAwayeverything was great except a very noisy refrigerator and the heat did not work in master bedroom. Did see a new fridge in the lobby with corresponding room number so hopefully that will be resolved.

I'm glad you enjoyed your stay. You are correct as that refrigerator in the lobby was for that unit and has been replaced. The heater/AC has also been fixed. We look forward to you staying with us again.

What a nightmare, renter beware
Publié le 22 oct. 2021 sur HomeAwayI have stayed in various units in this development over the past few years. I visit Rocky Point 2 to 4 weeks a year. I love Rocky Point. Things you should know, there is no longer a reciprocal agreement with the Mayan. And for the entire week I was here, none of the pools were heated, which made it too cold to swim (early October visit). As other guests have mentioned in their reviews, this unit needs maintenance and updating. There’s various broken things around the unit and the bedding/towels/couches are old and in need of immediate replacement. What I didn’t anticipate is that the owner would make up charges and bill our credit card for $100 following our stay. If you decide to stay here, which I caution you against, make a careful photo inventory of everything. You might need these to dispute charges with your credit card company. Especially focus on the damaged and/or worn out stuff that you will encounter. In my case, it was the towels and bedding. Do this immediately upon check in, as you would an old rental car. This is my first negative review on this platform. Zero stars.
