Nice condo with lovely pool nearby

This condo is as pictured and in a convenient location across from the lovely infinity pool and bbq area. Nice view of the golf course. Short drive to ABay and walking distance to Kings shops. Communication could have been better with owner before arrival who seemed unaware of contents of the unit such as whether or not it had a blender, cotton sheets, etc. housekeepers showed up before checkout time because owner failed to communicate with them.

We appreciate the opportunity to respond to this review. The blender was listed and we will add the type of sheets to amenities. These guests were given a late check out and stayed beyond that time. Therefore, the cleaners arrived before they had left.

Good location, but not luxurious

The property was rented to celebrate the holidays and New Year with family in Tampa, and was occupied by 4 adults and two dogs. The location was great, close to family and downtown Tampa, but the property did not live up to the description of luxurious. Some of the inside has been remodeled with new furnishings, but some other areas are in need of repair or replacement (broken blinds, vent fell out of the ceiling). The kitchen was lacking in basics for preparing and cooking meals for a family of 4 (no potholders or mixing bowls). There was no duvet in the duvet cover, and there were not enough washcloths for each person. The backyard and laundry are shared with the owner, which was not clear in the description. A good communication process needs to be set to ensure privacy of both owner and traveler(s). This is especially important if travelers are bringing pets, since the owners dog shares the backyard too. The owner was easy to reach when we had questions.

We hosts put our all into delivering great experiences and stays for our guests. As you can see from my other reviews and photos, we offer great service and the place is quite nice and upgraded, definitely luxurious. Unfortunately, guests like Tammy don't care about your stay, about the businesses hosts run, or our hard-earned reputations. This was a retaliation review by Tammy. The listing and pictures are all accurate with a regular camera. Tammy also received 20% off the already low introductory prices set at the time for the first 3 stays bonus. It’s very unfortunate people like Tammy have the 'personality' to leave inaccurate reviews even when they stayed at such a deep discount. If you are thinking about hosting Tammy and read her review and this response, to be clear, save yourself the trouble and reject or cancel the stay. Her group also caused some damage (such as vent they broke) to my home which were luckily covered by insurance.
