Best assets- staff and setting
Publié le 2 sept. 2024 sur HotelsHotel within easy access to Puerto Princesa underground river. Beautiful seeding on Sabang beach with mountain views. The staff are an asset to this hotel, with their friendliness and superb customer service. The biggest disappointment was the food. The food at the grill was bland and buffet was always cold. Experience some hit and misses with selections from the a la carte menu.

Wonderful resort. Loved everything about the property. The surrounding areas are not safe after dark. But absolutely loved the resort would totally recommend.

This hotel is amazing!
Publié le 15 août 2024 sur HotelsThe stay at the Four Points Sheraton was awesome. Although the location is a little out of the way it is absolutely worth it. We flew into Puerto Princessa Airport and drove to the location. The hotel staff is very accommodating and friendly. The food is delicious and on the night we got there they had a BBQ for dinner with a lot of variety. I give this location 10 stars.

This Sheraton should replace the restaurant’s Executive Chef. The dishes both on the Buffet and À la carte are not good at all. The meat are tough, tasteless and are unappealing. The Buffet are hardly replenished such that the guests have to ask to refill the dishes including desserts and fruit. The restaurant’s waiters are oftentimes no where to be found, so the guests have to clear their own finished plates if they are going for a second round to get dessert. But most importantly, the dishes are NOT good, with poor variety, tough meats, overcooked fish, shrimp and other seafood. Unless this Sheraton fire and replace the Executive Chef, we are not coming back.
On another note, my husband and I got transferred to another room 3 times due to some room issues. All 3 rooms have VERY WEAK shower water pressure. So weak water pressure that one will not find taking showers enjoyable. FIX your plumbing!

Super Service, perfekte Anlage
Publié le 29 mai 2024 sur HotelsWir genossen fünf Nächte in diesem Hotel. Die gesamte Belegschaft ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Anlage mit dem gigantischen Pool ist beeindruckend und sehr gepflegt. Ein Teil des Hotelkomplexes ist aktuell noch geschlossen, da die Anlage nach Übernahme durch Sheraton komplett saniert wird/wurde. Da wir zu Beginn der Regenzeit dort waren, war das Hotel praktisch leer und wir konnten es in vollen Zügen geniessen. Einziger Nachteil ist, dass die Anlage rund 90 Minuten vom Flughafen entfernt ist.
Die Zimmer sind sehr gross und die Betten sehr bequem. Auch gibt es täglich rund vier Liter Trinkwasser aufs Zimmer, welches wohl auch zusätzlich noch angefragt werden kann, uns reichte dies jedoch.
Das Preis-/ Leistungsverhältnis war gut, jedoch sind die Getränke in der Bar und im Restaurant sehr teuer im Vergleich zu den restlichen Philippinen.
Info für Drohnenpiloten: Überflug der Hotelanlage ist untersagt und dies wird auch geprüft. Auch am Morgen früh nach Anfrage wird der Antrag abgelehnt, obwohl keine Leute dort waren. Jedoch darf man sich ausserhalb der Anlage „frei“ bewegen. Die Security handhabt dies aber sehr professionell. :-)
Wir werden aber sehr gerne wieder kommen und danken der gesamten Mannschaft für den super Urlaub, den ihr und beschert habt.
